Definitive Tech W7 is Superb, absolutely marvelous, incredible sound. This is my Third W7 an incredible addition to my Definitive Family of impeccable speakers systems, Solo cinema Studio, and XTR. Buy the best, get the best results, you will never have any problems that will not be solved by Definitive Technology's tech support or questions for there costumer service. This speaker is top of the line quality but a little pricey at $400. We ended up exchanging it for the harman kardon onyx studio 2 for only $150 & was equally satisfied.

The W7 has a beautiful design. It's great that you can access the speakers separately through play-fi. I however, wish that Play-Fi updates their app to be somehow able to use the W7 in conjunction with the bass and soundbar whiles watching regular tv. Play-Fi set can be a hassle sometimes but in all, it's a great sounding and looking product for its price.

The sound quality from this speaker if great - worth the extra money over its competition. The app could be a bit better but since the initial update it has been much better. We stream music from a few sources including our NAS drive which is awesome - all wirelessly controlled from our phones with very little issues setting it up. I can't wait to get a few more to spread around the house.

These speakers provide fantastic sound, and work impeccably with other Definitive audio equipment, creating a nice surround sound system. However, the setup process is a bit of a pain, and the speakers will lose connection about once a month. When they do, the process of getting everything resynced can be quite cumbersome.

Let me clear first thing that I have bought this speaker for Best Buy 1 day deal for for only $199. Now for this price, what I have paid, this is the best speaker you can get when it comes to build quality and sound quality for small rooms. I have placed on in bathroom and one in kitchen. The Play-Fi is still not fully backed product and the app is still quirky and buggy from time to time but I have TIDAL and Spotify as 2 my main source for getting all my music but I have also bought 2 Chromecast Audio and plugged in via Optical Cable and that's way I am getting all my other apps like Google Play music and pretty much everything else so with this particular setup for this price I have paid . This is much better sound in comparison to sonos. Now sonos is great too specially the ease of use and the entire ecosystem but for sound quality , I am getting much better value here.

Aesthetically pleasing. Wifi yes, bluetooth no? I think that along with programming it to stream audio jointly with the sounder in another room is the challenge here, otherwise great sound & base for the price and size of this.

The reviews on these speakers vary so I took a chance..Took me 5 hours to get the master bar the two rear speaks to sync. Started on Sunday (tech support closed) fours was long enough. Woke up Monday morning, reset master bar and rear speakers syncedall three and suprised green check mark finally. Listening to Civil War Iron Man and Captain America battle it out in surroundsound at home....AWESOME!!!! Definitive Technology put a awesome package together...Micro Studio and Rear Speakers can be sync but you better have patience...

Purchased this for my husband. The sound is loud and clear. It's compact and looks really nice on our room. He wants another one.

I've used these as rear speakers pair with the DT soundbar and was pretty impressed. I have also used these to listen to Pandora and the music sounds great in my medium sized media room,

This is a great sounding speaker (Obviously def Tech) but not sure what they mean by wireless? Bluetooth yes, even at that it was a pain. I downloaded the app and I have a iPhone. It didn't play all the songs I have on my phone. I clicked on a song and it said, "This file can't be played". I dont know I got frustrated with the whole app and not playing my music. I have a huge amount of Def Tech products. Love them. Overall, do some research other than that; Speaker sounds great and is loud for the size of that cube.

I just added a 3rd W7 Def Tech cube to a whole house setup that includes a W9 and a Studio Soundbar. As wireless systems go, the sound quality is very good and the subwoofer is typical Def Tech solid -- far better IMHO than the Sonos system. Where the system stumbles is the wireless function isn't fully reliable. The system frequently "forgets" speakers that are part of the network or Play Fi dumps its connection in the middle of play. Both are generally easy enough to fix by either closing the app and restarting it or going through the speaker setup process to reconnect the forgotten speaker, but neither of those should be part of the standard operating procedure. Each software and app update makes the performance incrementally better, but it's still not to a point where I would recommend it to a friend. Keep working at it Def Tech and Play Fi...you're getting closer but you're not there yet.

I’ve had high end equipment since the 1970s. Speakers previously owned. Klipsh LaScalla, klipsh hersey, Bose 601,701,901. And many more. A year ago I sold all of my equipment. Yes big mistake. Well the wife wanted a Bose wireless for Christmas. Did a little research and found this speaker. Purchased and set up before wrapping for Christmas. WOW this speaker is great,, it has great highs and mids and the base is true, not overpowering. Have two now plan on buying more later. Hope this review helps. Buy this speaker and you won’t be disappointed.

I recently purchased 2 of these for two separate areas of the house. These speakers have extremely clear sound quality. Simply fantastic.
