Solid computer very fast and can do some solid gaming for a laptop

While this laptop has served me well for all purposes, the storage size is small for somebody who frequently plays lots of games, and the power supply doesn't stay strong for very long, requiring you to keep it plugged in all the time if you're actively doing something. Let's also not forget that it runs Alienware hardware and software, meaning it runs hot constantly, though I can't tell if that actually does anything to the system. We also have the Killer Wi-Fi Wireless Network Adapter this laptop runs and the slew of problems that can occasionally cause without any warning, usually requiring me to spend at least half an hour to an hour trying to get it working again. I would have rather bought a different laptop, but I'm fine with this for now.

The package already came in kind of beaten up from USPS. Opened her up and turned it on. Long story short I didn’t get it set up, the screen was completely black for at least 5-10 minutes and when pressing keys to find a different screen it came up like it did in this image. It changed into different variations of the lined up screen and could barely shut it down. Turned it in and I can’t really rate this laptop due to a shipment mishap but I will say the keyboard was nice, it was a decently sized laptop not too big. But there are better laptops with better specs out there for just a smidge more money or even a little less. Look at all your options.

I just got off with tech support with Dell. I have only had this computer for 123 days. The LCD screen came off the metal post that it sits on. The person said it was physical damage which it was not. All tried to do was close the screen and it came off. I was not forcing it or anything like that just trying to close it normal. Not covered by their basic warranty.

Good laptop, I use it for school which I maybe shouldn’t because it is heavier and bigger than your average laptop. Also the charger is convenient to bring around because it’s literally the size of a brick. The battery life is decent- sometimes it only lasts a day. Fast processor and I like that it has a lot of ram. Nice big display.

I really like the features and the speed. I have been using it for light gaming and multi tasking. Have not run into any issue with lagging. Only downside is the battery life. It only lasts about 2 hours with full battery. If battery saver is turned on, it lasts a little longer. Overall I would say it is a great laptop for the price.

Laptop is really fast, screen looks amazing. Overall great laptop. It runs games like Skyrim and Borderlands 3 very smoothly to give you and idea of what you can run on it.

Excellent laptop for gaming. Offers good value for what I paid for it. The only things that take it down to 4 stars are battery life when unplugged, and the placement of where the power actually goes in. My experience with this device, the cord for power supply comes out of the laptop extremely easily. All told, excellent machine for the price. The cord is a minor irritant and doesn't ruin my experience.

I bought it one year ago, I've travelled with it to many countries and it flows like the first day I've turn it on. It's a solid machine, well constructed, the screen is of really good quality, its 144hz looks incredible. The only thing that I would change it's the video card to at least 8 gb vram, because I can't play some new games in minimun requeriments (hogwarts, last of us, read dead 2)

Only owned for 8 months. Have had multiple problems with the battery, charger and now motherboard. When the battery chargers, the life is very good. Graphics are okay. Speed is good. But the issues outrank the positives here. Would not recommend buying this product.

I use this laptop for gaming and school assignments, and it is absolutely an amazing purchase. $1,100 is a little over market value, but still worth the money. Battery life is rather short, especially when gaming, but as long as you keep the charger with it, there are no problems. This laptop can run newer games at high settings very well, but be weary about the laptop temperature.

I’ve got this laptop for over a year now and I have no regrets it’s def worth spending the money on, I wanted a powerful laptop that can support multiple design programs as well as let me work on my business and this def did the job

Performance very good for a moderate priced laptop primarily used for video and phot editing. The clunkly trackpad and lack of card read and ethernet port make it less than perfect. It gets the job done very well, but I have to carry outboard gear to make it perfect for my needs

The laptop is amazing I love it so much speed is good battery life needs a bit more improvement the display is good love the sound it displays to I have had some problems with it but still works great

Decent laptop. 16gb is nice. Touch screen would be good. Video card is good.

The laptop is kind of heavy but the graphics card makes a great difference in performance.

Had this laptop for just over a year now and it's pretty solid. Upgrading the NVME drive is tricky because it comes with mini nvme and to install a full sized one you have to reorient a small bracket. So far it runs WoW, Cyberpunk, and Jedi Fallen Order without an issue as long as you have good air flow.

I purchased this laptop for my son to replace an older laptop that was having some battery issues. This new laptop meets both school needs and his gaming expectations. Getting a response out of him was a task in and of itself....so a 4 star response is pretty darn good coming from him. Thanks to Best Buy for having what we needed.

After having the Dell G15 for several weeks, I can say it handles everything from simple tasks from email, research to Gaming. Graphics are awesome & my son has been testing the gaming capabilities ( Fortnite, Halo, Destiny etc) even though he uses his consoles. Great computer @ great price.

Very fast laptop, very good video card and very nice design! It is exactly what I was looking for a great deal. I have not run any high quality game or software, but it seems really good.
