Bought this laptop for my wife's publishing business, to replace her old Dell Inspiron i7 laptop. She's very happy with the new Dell G16, So far it seems to handle everything she throws at it with speed and grace. Great performance, all around: fast disk read/write, lots of memory, the intel i9 processor has plenty of power, and the graphics are amazing. A great all around laptop, for playing games, handle your business needs, and your personal activities, whether it is email, internet social media, gaming, etc. for a very resonable $1599 price.

I have only tried it on one game but so far it is performing as expected the price compares well with an Alien ware comp with similar specs.

I really liked it, in some things I expected more, I bought it to use to develop architectural projects and in the image rendering part the dedicated video card fails a little, I expected it to be better! But overall the laptop is very good!

It’s hard to find an I9 processor with Nvidia GPU for under 2000 dollars

Waited 2 weeks for this laptop to come when I received it the screen was not working properly.

I’ve been using the Dell G16 (2023) Gaming Laptop for a while now, and it’s been an absolute beast! The Intel Core i9 and RTX 4060 combo handles everything I throw at it, from AAA games to multitasking with ease. Games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Call of Duty run super smooth on high settings, and the 165Hz display makes everything look buttery smooth. The build quality is solid, and I love the RGB keyboard—feels great to type and game on. It does get a little warm under heavy load, but the cooling system does a decent job. The 1TB SSD is fast with plenty of space, and 32GB RAM means no slowdowns, even with multiple apps running. Battery life isn’t the best (lasts around 4-5 hours with normal use, less if gaming), but that’s expected for a powerful gaming laptop. It’s a bit on the heavier side, but the performance more than makes up for it. Overall, this thing is a powerhouse and totally worth it if you want a high-performance gaming laptop without spending a fortune. Highly recommend!

So you understand how I am using this laptop, I use it all day at work with remote connections, then take it home and use it for grad school and eventually to play games. So it is powered on for at least 8-10 hours per day. Mostly plugged into the power adapter, so I have not tested the actual usable length of the battery yet. I upgraded my laptop from Dell G5 15 5590 to this one after 3.5 years. My old one started lagging in the games I was playing, especially during nighttime activities when it rains (Hogwarts Legacy, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Jurrasic World Evolution to name a few). So far, this laptop has kept up without lagging. I am using a powered laptop cooler that has 6 fans, and it does help keep it cool. Because of the power of this thing, it does run warm if you are trying to use it on your lap or something. Definitely need the powered fans for it to sit on. Not completely done setting it up, but it so far has performed well and done what's expected. Have been using it a solid week now and I am happy with this upgrade. I was happy there was not a lot of bloatware that I had to get rid of (def less than other laptops I have set up). The only negative I have run into so far is the power supply brick. The configuration needs a 330w adapter with a 7.4mm barrel, and it is huge and heavy (I estimate at least 5+ lbs). So I will have to purchase another $200 adapter brick and power cord to leave at work so I don't have to carry it back and forth. Seriously, it is heavy and big, especially when trying to fit it in a laptop backpack.

Additionally, the customer support provided by the manufacturer has been excellent. They were prompt in addressing my queries and providing helpful solutions. In conclusion, I highly recommend this computer to anyone in search of a reliable and high-performing device. It has certainly made my computing experience more enjoyable and efficient.

When doing research for my first gaming laptop, I wanted something that could keep up with my ADHD by being able to run videos, websites and high graphics games all at once and this laptop delivers. I gave it a 4 because the fan is sort of loud but if you wear headphones, that isnt an issue. This also has 1 USBC port, which would've been nice to have a couple more. The last minor observation is that the charger is a bit bulky and a little annoying to lug around. Overall, I would recommened. I didn't wait for a sale, but it being on sale wouldn't hurt.

Graphics are high as expected. Clear smooth gameplay. Start up is slow. But when running a simple Roblox game, after 10 minutes the battery went from 99% to 82%. Is the battery old or faulty? Is there someone I can talk with about getting a free battery replacement?

I had to return it because the battery only lasted about two hours, which wasn't sufficient for my needs. Despite this issue, the computer excelled in performance, had the perfect screen size, and boasted solid build quality. The only other downside was the large, brick-like charger. If battery life is not a priority for you, this computer is otherwise an excellent choice.

This is a bulletproof laptop with all the specs that you would find in a large desktop. Don't hesitate to purchase great for doing vinyl application with blotter. Cutting machine renderings auto CAD or just searching. The Web computer is well put together with great hardware. Don't hesitate. I would recommend buying a cooling pad for it. Because it does get a little warm when using heavy applications which is normal for laptops but again. Don't hesitate bulletproof computer. You will absolutely love it and not be disappointed. DELL is a great product.

This laptop was great. I bought it open box for a decent price and I was happy with it. The reason I returned mine was because it was not competitive with pricing at the same. Dell had a similar laptop with a 4070 for about $300 less. If this is for productivity only, I would 100% recommend this product.

My old laptop was starting to choke on the current games I play. Upgraded to this one and I am extremely happy with its performance. I am now running Starfield, Balfour’s Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 on max graphics with excellent frame rates. I did not know what I was missing with the old laptop. Only issue I have is the size of the power brick. It is very large.

This was purchased to replace a 6 year old computer. While I mainly use a computer for business type work, I do need a good graphic computer and this fit the bill once I upgraded to Microsoft Windows 11 Pro. My one complaint is that Dell does not make computers with numeric key pads on the right of the keyboard. I would have preferred that with a bit larger screen.

The device sure has great specs, however the battery is not good enough and it heats up unnecessarily (even without playing games on it).

Laptop Runs Great! Needed an upgrade for a while and needed on that was cost efficient and could run computer games. A month in and it preforms past expectations and is a solid choice for anyone looking for a gaming laptop!

So far, the laptop works perfectly, the keyboard's colors are awesome and the storage space is enough for at least 3 games. Something to improve is the battery since is huge and the weight is significant.
