it's a great laptop for my grandchild to do school work

I bought this laptop, affordable for a college student. The touch screen works perfectly. Is fast and very light to be transported around campus.

I needed a new laptop since my last Dell finally died. For the price with touch screen, it's great. A little slow & the mouse control isn't great (maybe because it's touch screen?) Also, I didn't realize that it does not have a disc drive, not a big deal for me, but just be aware.

This is a decent computer for the price. It is very basic and would be good for a child or simple web browsing. It is very basic but it OK for the price. I do like the touch screen feature.

Good for e-mails and surfing. Screen is bigger than on a netbook. Light enough for trips and has a reasonable battery life. Laptop was made better with memory upgrade to 4GB.

Not powerful and limited storage, but a nice option to a Chromebook. Touch screen is a nice bonus.

I only need the computer to do my resume but besides just doing my resume I found it very useful and easy to use. I found out this laptop was touch screen and honestly I didn't even know that when I bought it I just thought that for the price it was just a regular laptop I love it

I wanted a touch screen and something to use for school. My husband found this on sale so he bought it for me. At first it was a bit laggy when I was typing, I am not sure if I need to reset the mouse. Its ok now. Its easy to use and I love that I can scroll the page with my finger instead of using the mouse pad.

This is good for the price and works well. This is not a replacement for laptop. It is great as a dedicated unit for a particular program or web surfing.

This laptop features a touchscreen display at a low price. Good for very basic web-browsing and email tasks. The 2GB of memory is not soldered in, and can be expanded up to 8GB, which improves the overall performance.

This computer is great for young teens but it can't handle the work of a high schooler. Definateley worth paying a little extra up front for more memory & faster speed

I bought this computer mainly for my kids to use for homework. No complaints so far. My only disappointment was with the complete lack of attention every employee paid to me at the store. I had gift cards. That was the only reason I went to Best Buy.

Bought this laptop for my daughter. It is perfect for her to surf the web, and do basic Office tasks. Great value for the $$$ and a touch screen to boot. She loves it and does all a school age child that's not a hardcore gamer needs.

The Dell Inspiron was ready to use out of the box, and came with a free 1 yr subscription to MS Office. Great price, too! I love the ease of use of the touchscreen. Great machine.

I got this computer since it was a good price for a touch screen. I thought it looked cheap with the outside plastic at first but it works great. Great for what you pay. My daughter loves it and uses it all the time.

Good price for a new touch screen computer. It needs more memory . I'm sure it will be a favorite after the added memory. It tends to be slow.
