I purchased this computer for my daughter, who is entering her last year of college. She loves the speed of the computer, the touchscreen and apps. The price was great for a i5 computer and I am happy with the purchase. Being able to add it to my Geek account and get accidential coverage is a bonus because I won't have to worry if she has problems with the computer away from home. Also, she upgraded to Windows 10 without any issues!

I was looking for a replacement laptop and when this came up in a daily deal I went for it. The laptop fits all of my needs and the touchscreen is a great added feature that I wasn't initially looking for but am happy that is included. Great price for touchscreen and i5 processor.

looked at lot of sites but best buy really was the best buy for this laptop and this configuration. touch screen, webcam and all the latest features.

I was looking for a decent laptop with plenty of features for a reasonable price. This laptop meets the criteria. Got it recently for $449 and actually bought a 2nd one 2 weeks later during a 4-hour online sale for $350! Great bargain to get an i5, touchscreen, 500GB hard drive, full keyboard with number pad, HDMI out, and 4GB RAM. My only complaints are that the 4GB RAM is not enough when running virus software in background and running more memory intensive application and have had some problems with what is perceived as "spotty WiFi reception". However, the memory can be "expanded" to 8GB which is nice (unfortunately you have to buy a new 8GB chip - around $50 - and discard the 4GB one). Access to the RAM and hard drive are great, remove 1 screw and slide out panel for access. I'm hoping the upgrade in RAM will help with the processing and perceived WiFi dropouts. Hard to beat this combo of features and price, I'd recommend planning the RAM upgrade if buying this laptop. The hard drive is 7.5mm if you are considering swapping it for a SSD.

pros: Long battery duration. Touch screen is cool. Fast processor. Nice and easy to type keyboards. Good wifi connection cons: No shutdown led indicator Come with window 8 operating system which is suck.

The laptop is super fast. You can have numerous apps working simultaneously at top speed. I'm just having a hard time acclimating to its a) size and keyboard layout b) windows 8. Having used a Dell Latitude (currently e5450) for work over the past number of years, I'm finding the Inspiron 15.6 to be too large, too heavy and the keys inconviently placed many inches off the front of the laptop. There's a thick empty border with no keys. The placement is strange. It should've been closer to the edge of the laptop. It's possible that with time it'll start to feel niftier but for now it seems clunky. Even the touch button not having separate buttons for R and L mouse is taking getting used to. Aside from the "comfort" piece, the laptop is wonderfully powerful.

I bought this as a replacement for my home laptop which my kids appropriated. It's faster and I love the touchscreen. Works for all my needs.

This was purchased on sale, a great price for it. Normally not a fan of Dells, but this was the right price and was recommended by a friend. So far, happy with it.... aside from Windows 8. So glad 10 is out and there is an alternative, and the plus side is, this is upgradable to 10 right out of the box.

Researched many sites but Best Buy had the best deal for this model/type which I purchased for my new college student. It had all of the features requested, Intel core, touch screen, webcam, larger screen size and more.

This computer has a touch screen and 5th generation i5, which is faster than its previous generations. It can be used for everyday work. It is not FHD and only 4 GB memory. So I exchanged it for another Dell computer.

My new Dell laptop is everything that I was looking for. It has the features, speed and look that I wanted. I am happy with my new Dell laptop.

Exactly what my wife and I were looking for when one of us was on our desktop. Like the touch screen option even though I'm mostly "old school" and use the keyboard for most things. We liked it so well, we bought a second one so we each have one.

Bought this as an entry level laptop for my son going to college. For the price, it is a very good machine. Decent specs, nice display, touch screen, it is everything he needs to keep in touch and get those late night pizzas ordered. :) My only complaint is that it feels very cheap. It feels like one drop and it will shatter into a million pieces. But again.......the price fits so it still gets 4 stars.

So far, so good, laptop works just fine. Great processor and quite light in weight.

This laptop Dell I3543-3251BLK is very good. I want to emphasize the quality of the built-in Intel 5th generation (iHDG 5500) video, the touch screen and the processing speed. Worth the value paid

$100 off on 4-hour sale is unbeatable for a touch-screen laptop with 15.6" screen. Lightweight too - and weight is usually one of the annoying aspects of laptops unless you pay through the nose.

i recently bought this computer and its so cool and its fast and i dont have troubles just the antivirus makes the system so slow i just had to remove it

So far no problems with this laptop. The hard drive is a little slow but overall a good solid laptop for the price. Compared to others I looked at it seems more solid and durable as well.

Really good laptop works really fast and the touch screan is a plus!

for the price, configuration is good.but performance is slow. not as expected. the exterior surface is too delicate...but comparitively good for the price purchased.
