This laptop from Dell works great at this price. Performance is good.

Have not purchased a Dell computer in a number of years, but had the need for a fairly basic laptop at a good price. This went on sale for Black Friday and I couldn't resist. Although you do get what you pay for, this laptop makes me feel like I got more for my money. Just powerful enough to meet my specific needs without draining my wallet. Very good value for the money!

I needed a good replacement computer that could handle everyday tasks and give good resolution to photos and videos and a screen large enough to watch DVDs. This computer more than gets the job done. The only draw back is that it does not have a built in DVD/CD drive. However, I was able to purchse a DVD/CD external drive for under $40.00. Super computer for the money.

The only trouble I've had with this TV after a month or so of use was getting it out of the box in the first place. Since then it has performed well. The picture is clear and the colors are life like. In the interest of full disclosure, I am over 70 and my eyes are not what they once were so I may not be the best critic of the picture! At any rate, we like the TV.

So far so good. The notebook is fast and lightweight and the touch screen (what I thought that would be a minor item) it’s a very attractive one since we’re used to touch every single screen theses days. Doesn’t get a 5* just because I’m a little bothered about the black finish were every single fingerprint mark the surface and it’s a little annoying to me.

I got this laptop for personal use, and I chose it because I have the business class model for work. What impressed me with the Dell was the roughly 10 hour battery life I get using the "balanced" power settings. Windows is very responsive on those settings, and I can close the lid, stuff it in my backpack for a few days, and still have nearly the same battery left when I closed it. If you need to be untethered from a wall socket for the better part of the day, this is the laptop to get. The only drawback of this model compared to what I have for work is the screen. The Latitude line has IPS screens which have excellent viewing angles. This laptop has an LCD screen which will get a bit washed out looking if you don't angle the screen just right. Honestly, for a sub-$400 computer with the performance, amount of ram, and 256 GB SSD, it is a perfectly fine screen. Colors look good, Netflix looks very good, and it has a fast enough refresh rate for even live sports or light gaming. You would have to pay $200-300 more to get a better LCD panel, and the benefit just isn't worth it. Overall, this is one of the best laptops I've had out of the 30-40 I've owned or tested in the last 20 years. It's the one I throw in the backpack whenever I need performance on the go.

Excellent Laptop computer, fast, great for the price

For the price we have really got a lot of use from this laptop. My wife uses it for preparing her lessons (she’s a professor). We have used it for movie nights and for our children’s zoom conference calls now that we are living in a covid world. Overall happy with the performance for the price not much negative to say.

I bought this laptop on Black Friday for my daughter to use in college. The solid state drive is quick and responsive, boots up quickly and works great. We did have to follow the online instructions to take the computer out of S mode and adjust the screen settings so they were more vivid. So far she has liked it and it has been a great laptop for her.

I was doing some shopping unrelated to laptops at Best Buy, but for decided to take a look at laptops since my vintage Lenova was probably reaching its end of life. As usual the staff at Best Buy was attentive and helpful and point out the value of this one....I valuated this with a technician that I know who said it would be perfect for my home use.
