I mostly use the Inspiron in tablet mode, especially in tent mode. Battey mode is decent.and I haven't had any problems with the apps I run. The big downsides are the keyboard and the touchpad. I've already had to replace one key due to an airborne cat landing. The left button on the touchpad also has a tendency to get stuck. It will only release by repeatedly tapping on it. I've had the same problem with a similar type touchpad on other laptops. They are just poor quality.

I orginally got the Pentium thinking it was this one. When I go to the store the Pentium was on the counter for $549. This one wasnt in sight. Didnt even offer it. Im like this is the same computer. Turned out it wasnt. The computer had to be returned because it would crash after not bringing up a website that u entered and others would work. Then it would say disk drive failure and do all this loading just to do it again when u turned the computer back on. Geek Squad couldnt figure it out. Plus it would zoom for no reason to like 150%.Crazy. but the disk drive thing that was no good. I didnt care as much about the zoom thing but u had to fix it. Well for the same price you can get the Core i3. Why not. Couldnt be happier. This computer is awesome. (The windows apps are same as your phone so I dont use tablet mode much with the touchscreen) but I love this computer.

Like it as a tablet, some issues as a laptop

Overall, it's a pretty good system for the price. The weight is still low enough that it can still be used comfortably as a tablet which I find is the way I use it most often. The few negatives I've run into: -the keyboard is not the best quality. Had a cat jump on the keyboard and knock a few keys loose. One key snapped right back on and the other lost the clip. I had to order a replacement key. -the touchpad is troublesome: I've run into this same type of cheap touchpad on other laptops and the left button area of the pad has a tendency to stick. I usually have to bang on it at least once a day to get the button to unstick. -This is probably a Windows 10 quirk, but occasionally the on screen mouse pointer disappears. The touchpad and touch screen are still functional - you just can see the pointer. Wiggle the touchpad enough and it comes back eventually.
