I replaced my old laptop with this. it is lightweight, very thin and I love the fact that I can easily use it via touch screen or the keyboard. I've only had it for one month but overall I am very happy with it. The one negative thing is that It generates heat. I even tried to place it on top of a book or magazine but it still gets warm and it is a bit uncomfortable on my lap.

The key pad has a nice response, not too spongy. It feels pretty durable, though the edges feel a bit sharp when trying to open it. Battery seems to be lasting a fairly long time, though I am not on it for long periods of time. I have had driver warnings from the start that seem to immediately correct themselves, but I do need to get it looked at. Otherwise, surprisingly happy in my transition from a desk top computer.

The build quality is great Dell as usual. Nice and lightweight body with a glossy touchscreen. The battery life is impressive for the small form factor. It does get a little warm at times, but certainly not hot. Overall, a very snappy machine and well worth the price.

The size is perfect for travel. Screen is very clear and bright. I'm new to Window's 10 but the starter apps are helpful. I use it mainly for e-mails and some research. The backlit keyboard is great! I do wish it would have the flip-flop camera though. I'm very pleased with this computer, but I must admit it has many more features that this novice is still learning to use.

I am not a big fan of Dell computers because everyone that I have ever used, mostly at work, has just been horrible. One problem after another but our Purchasing people seem to have a tragic love affair with this subpar product. I bought this computer in hopes that it will be good for a college student due to it's light weight and hopeful performance and efficiency.

This is a great deal @$649. The laptop is fast and has a beautiful screen. Where I have issues are in two places. The laptop comes with a bad Wifi Driver. The Wifi was in and out constantly. Needed to get on my other laptop and download the new driver from Dell website. If this is your only laptop how can you do that? Also, this is not something that the average laptop buyer is going to know how to do, so this has to be a nightmare for BB staff. Once the driver was updated all was well, at least we thought. After a couple of days of slight usage the battery was dead. Sure enough there was a problem with either the charger or the charger port. Didn't try to figure out which it was. Best Buy was excellent with swapping the unit out for a new one. The new unit has been fine for a week now, of course I had to do the same wifi driver update again. Again good laptop and great BB support but I can't understand how Dell could release a Windows 10 laptop without a working WiFi driver.

I have been looking around for a decent 2 in 1 and this did not disappoint. Intel skylake i5, 8 gigs of ram, and an SSD. This checked all the boxes. The build is nice! Its relativley light and thin as well. The only thing missing was a 2k or 4k screen. You can go with the XPS if you really need that, but prepare for a hefty price increase. Battery life is a little lacking at 6 hours of heavy use, but not that bad of a compromise for the overall weight. For $800, this laptop has it made. Great job Dell!

I have been very pleased with my laptop so far with the one exception of Windows 10. Overall it's good but the video driver will freeze and restart on its own, and once it did its first set of updates, the screen blacked out and would not come back on until after 2 full reboots. These more an issue with the new OS than with the laptop however...

Solid computer. I enjoy the typing experience, the keyboard is great. My only concern is that the speakers are located underneath the laptop so it makes it hard to hear sometimes, unless placed on a hard surface.

Usually, i don't get the chance to write any reviews, however I decided to write one for this laptop. Please, do read the reviews before you purchase anything. This laptop is having issues with the wifi and its adapter. I have bought this laptop sometime after black Friday (2015) and I was so excited. Don't get me wrong, laptop looks awesome. Very sleek, but it's performance, is awful. Once I got it home, got it started and finished setting it up, all of a sudden I lost the wifi connection, which was really weird. The rest of the computers were fine with the wifi, just not this one brand new, pricey Dell laptop. So, I reset my router, my modem and the laptop, again five minutes later it lost connection to wifi, but still showed connected. So, i called Dell and they tried their best, still no luck. The tech then instructs me to return it, because he couldn't find out either what was wrong with it. I returned it and replaced it, still decided to go with the same laptop, again, it is a very nice laptop, and i always had Dell, and i wanted to give it a second chance. Not a good idea. Same issues, and on top of that, this one had issues restarting, it would take forever. Not acceptable for a brand new laptop. After all the issues, i decided to just completely return it and gave a chance to Lenovo. Very happy with that decision!

The laptop is good for the price. The touch screen is easy to get used to. My only complaint with this laptop is when I'm using the tablet touch screen mode, it says the system stopped responding and has recovered every couple minutes sometimes. But it has never showed it stopped responding. Other than that, a great laptop.

It's actually for my sister but she definitely enjoys it more than her previous one. Solid state drives are the way to go and they are one of the best upgrades you can do on your computer. If you're getting a laptop, get one with a solid state, because let's be real, external large capacity hdd's are cheap.

Picked this up a few weeks ago. I initially received it with no charging cable but I quickly exchanged it for another one.. I use the tablet mode whenever I'm watching videos and it's great.. SSD is a little small but I will probably be upgrading.. In all, quick and reliable to get the job done
