Q: Does it truly have a backlit keyboard.
A: Yes, it does have a back-lit keyboard. However, you cannot adjust the levels of brightness like on a mac book. It is either on or off.
Q: Can you install a bigger SSD?
A: Yes, you can install an SSD or an HDD. Just remove the back cover and you have entire access to the 128GB SSD.
Q: WiFi capable
A: Yes. But be careful. When it performs it's automatic "critical" updates out of the box the drivers for the wifi adaptor no longer work.
Q: Does it come with Windows 10 disk?
A: Hi John. I purchased my Dell Inspiron 13 from Best Buy in November 2014. There was no Windows 10 disk included. Windows 10 was already loaded on the machine. Hope this helps.
Q: Does it include manufacturer warranty
A: yes it does include 1 year dell warrenty ,, you first have dell dignose the issue with dell connect ,, then if cant be resolved you have to mail it to dell ,, dell pays the shipping cost,, just use the box that the laptop came in or your own box,, as long it a new laptop not the refurbished ones
Q: Does it come with Office 365?
A: No, but you can buy it, they offered a discount at the store when I purchased the laptop.
A: If you are talking about a 2-in-1 as in laptop to tablet yes it can go both ways. The screen is not able to be removed from the keyboard like the Surface Pro but the screen is able to be folded over for tablet mode and pulled back up to laptop position. Also the nice thing about this laptop is when it's in tablet mode the keyboard is disabled until it is back to laptop mode, preventing it from registering keys being pushed while in tablet mode while on your lap or wherever you choose to set it down on.
A: Mine folds completely flat - there's only room to slide a piece of paper between the front and back when it's in tablet mode.
