The Dell - Inspiron 2-in-1 13.3 Touch-Screen Laptop is a light weigh laptop that can be used as a laptop or a tablet. With it's easy to flip and fold backwards keyboard, it enables you to switch with ease. I would have to say though that it has a few little issues like slow refresh time and slow windows opening up. But if you are laptop suave you should be able to get around those issues.

I was leary to get a laptop since I always had desktop but quickly found out how much better it is, especially w/touchscreen. Many helpful hints and directions at my fingertips. Still learning, but really like it!

I got 2 of these within 1 hour! The first one didn't connect to the Internet at all! It connected for less than a minute, only to display later that "there were no connections available", while my Macs, iPhones and Xbox ones find dozens of connections and always connect very fast. Then the second one... SAME THING! I try to restart... It takes 5 minutes to restart, and displays "your computer has a problem and needs to restart". Come on, this thing was inside a sealed box not even half an hour ago! I'm returning it tomorrow morning and I give up on this brand. This is unacceptable. Doesn't know how to make a computer connect to the Internet properly, please don't put it on the market.

Love everything about this laptop but was curious if anyone else had issues with the warning I attached a picture of? It Reads: Display driver stopped responding and has recovered Display driver Intel HD Graphics Drivers for Windows 8 (R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered...Keep getting this and have updated drivers and have been in touch with Dell...Thought it was fixed but I keep getting it...I have also spoken to The Geek Squad...Considering exchanging it while I still can but concerned I will have the same issues...My question is why am I getting message for Windows 8 when I thought this unit was preloaded with Windows 10???

Super clean, great feel and use. The keyboard is great to type on. The sound is incredible for a laptop this size. The tablet mode on this computer works really well, and is great when playing around on it with my young daughter. Solid state hard drive was a must for me, and its been living up to my expectations. Only things I would complain about are the mousepad, the wifi driver, and the screen resolution. The mousepad can get a little fidgety sometimes and doesn't have as nice of feel as the macbooks, but definitely not terrible or a deal breaker. The wifi drivers went out after a month and wouldn't show any available networks, but it must have been a widespread thing because after I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers a new update was available and I've had no problems ever since. The screen is unbelievably clear and crisp with media and on most sites, but for some reason looks a little fuzzy on other sites. For instance on Gmail it makes it seem like its an old version with lower resolution viewing some screens. Not sure why, but again, doesn't happen that often to really bother me, but it is noticeable. All in all, really like it so far.

I got this laptop for school because my old one was big and heavy. This computer is light (I can take it to school and do my school work). What I like the most is that it is 2 in 1 (touchscreen) so I can flip it and study on tablet mode. It is fast for web browsing. The only bad thing was the WiFi. At first the WiFi was working at home and failed to connect on school, so I decided to go to geek squad and they "fixed it". The next day I tried it and yes it did work at school, but not at home, so then I decided to search for some reviews on how to fix it and I ended up resetting it several times and also ended up with Windows 8, but I did a final reset to get Windows 10. I ended up doing several things and came up with if you use the WiFi at home and turn it off and turn it on at school you won't have problems with WiFi(this works for me i don't know if it will work with your computer)

I am happy with my purchase of this laptop - value vis a vis its performance. I got the increased speed, longer battery life and a lighter laptop that I wanted. I have no issues with the wi-fi that others seem to have had.

I researched laptops for a good two weeks, and even considered whether I should upgrade my existing desktop and skip laptops all together. For the price and features, this laptop has it all. The backlit keyboard is a benefit when working in low light conditions. The form factor, while a 13" screen works well for my primary uses, which consist of photo editing and short videos. The laptop itself is extremely lightweight and the 2-in-1 option gives it the feeling of a laptop when you want to go for a different user experience. The i5 processor coupled with the SSD drive provide a dramatic performance upgrade over my last laptop. Startup times are quick, multitasking is a breeze, and I've found that my workflow with Adobe Lightroom has improved greatly. Battery life is great and the full HD screen is good as well. The touch option is very responsive and similar to using an iPad. If you're concerned about storage space, just purchase an external drive (1TB), which have come down in price. The only reason for not giving an excellent rating was for the first computer I purchased had a flaw, and wouldn't turn on. BB exchanged it with no hassles and I was on my way.

Have had Dell computers for years and have always loved them. Due to a Windows 10 snafu with my other Dell laptop there was no fixing or didn't want to repurchase Windows 8 to fix. So when this laptop came up on a Flash Sale, I purchased it. There does seem to be an issue with drivers not working properly periodically but just haven't tried to address that yet. Fast, lightweight( I travel for work) and an overall great experience so far with it!

It is a good laptop for traveling, has about 6 hours of battery life and nicely back-lit LED keyboard and is touch screen. However it comes with Windows 10, so be sure to either downgrade to Windows 7 or install a Linux distribution as soon as possible. I'm running Ubuntu 15.04 stable with Gnome desktop and it's working great. It also has a decent CPU and a good amount of memory for working with multiple programs at once. Thanks to the SSD it is very fast at boot and basic file operations.

I chose this laptop over the new Microsoft Surface Book because it offered me the same options for half the price and I wasn't disappointed. It's fast and responsive with more ports for adding devices or drives. It connects quickly to the Internet, downloads in a flash and works well with MS Office and other software. I wouldn't recommend this laptop for high end graphics or gaming, but it should meet your needs if you are looking for a solid work machine.

I bought this to replace an 8 year old laptop that finally failed. I wanted something like the Surface pro, but without the price tag. So I went with this 2 in 1. I like the fully functioning laptop, and the ability to fold it into a 'tablet'. Although it's light for a laptop, it is a little heavy for a tablet. The keyboard is slightly cramped, but functions, and the backlit keys are a nice feature. Great processing specs and RAM ensure this will keep up for a long time.

I purchased this laptop for my wife for Christmas - it wasn't the cheapest option, but it did have all the features I was looking for, including a touch screen/2-in-1, W10 and SSD storage. Unfortunately, after opening the box and trying to run through the setup process, the system wouldn't maintain a connection to my home WiFi - I have numerous wireless clients connected and haven't had a moment of trouble with any other devices so I knew it there was an issue with the Dell system. After troubling shooting the problem for awhile, I found that the WiFi device/adapter would be present after a cold boot, connect to the WiFi and then drop the connection after a few minutes. And more than just dropping the connection, the WiFi adapter would actually disappear from the list of HW devices... The biggest issue was not being able to keep the WiFi link connected log enough to get onto the Dell website and download a new driver! The only other choice was to download the driver onto a USB stick and try to load the driver from the USB drive - this didn't work because the wireless HW wouldn't stay visible log enough to complete the driver install. So the only choice left was to copy the file onto the SSD and hope it running the install off the local drive would be fast enough to get the driver fully loaded before it went missing again. Long story short, this worked. I got the new driver loaded, rebooted the system it haven't had a problem with wireless stability since. Not that I'm anyone's gift to computers, but I believe this system would have been a DOA to the average consumer and end up back with the store or Dell. If the system had worked properly right out of the box, I'd have given it 5 stars.

So far I have been extremely pleased with the overall performance and quality of this Dell Laptop. It is way faster than my last Sony Vaio laptop, and with this SSD Hard Drive you can't hear a single noise. Additionally, the battery life, which was an element that I was very concerned about prior to buying this laptop, is fairly pretty good lasting around 5 to 6 hours. As mentioned, I've been quite happy with this product, and I'd definitely recommend this laptop if you are looking for good value.

I'm really loving this modest laptop ... Dell - Inspiron 13.3 Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 128GB Solid State Drive - Black ... for what I'll be using it for. Traveling video media client, and e-mail / basic web, and some light work. Interestingly, the exact configuration (from BestBuy) was more coherent than a similar laptop I had ordered directly from Dell. (I returned that one). All three USB ports are USB-3. 8GB of memory seems prudent (Dell's "i5" prefab configurations generally had only 4GB). (It does sound crazy to me that 4GB wouldn't be enough, but I'm hearing that the "i5" and "i7" processors benefit from 8GB. BTW, I believe the video is using that memory too, on this machine). I prefer this slower (cooler, slower battery drain) Intel Core i5 over the slightly faster Intel Core i7 alternative (also sold by BestBuy). I understand that the one with the Core i7 runs quite hot on the bottom -- that can't be good for the longevity of the machine. Solid State Drive is excellent -- fast and sturdy -- but 128 GB drive seems a bit tight. (I'll probably wait until 512 GB SSDs become more accessible before replacing that -- I'm sure that's doable). The HDMI output is essential (that's good). I guess HDMI 1.4 is still typical, but that wouldn't be sufficient for 4K (UHD) video. (That's not a current need of mine. 1080p HD is pretty great). I wish it had a physical Ethernet port. A USB-3 dongle for that (separate purchase) works fine, though of course, is not as convenient (and a bit more "fragile"). In any case, large downloads went fine with just WiFi -- e.g. upgrading from Windows 10 Home to Pro directly from Microsoft on the machine. I love that it's black. (That wasn't even an option for ordering this -- or the hotter i7 configuration -- directly from Dell).

I must start out by explaining that I first purchased Nextbook 11. While it was pretty good for the lower price tag, it just did not have enough power to run my Quicken program well and the storage was pretty limited. I went to Best Buy and after reviewing the options, landed on this Dell. Best performance I found for the price. the Screen is much more refined than many of the brands I first looked at. It does seem to appear slightly darker on the left and right edge depending on the angle you view it, but that could just be mine. (the reason for 4 stars and not 5) I have been very happy with the performance. Boot time is quick and Windows 10 seems to run nicely. I would recommend for someone like myself that is looking for a personal computer for daily activities. Have not played any games yet, but my guess is it would do a pretty good job. Of course the i7 would be better for gamers.

I originally bought a more traditional laptop for about $100 less and once I started using it at home and with clients it was very slow and felt cheap. For a little bit more money I tried this Dell and the solid state is incredibly faster. I didn't think I'd care about the touch screen but I love it now. The tablet option has come in handy numerous times. It's nice being able to easily switch between tablet and desktop mode because when I'm using it as a laptop I don't like the windows app view. The other thing I noticed when I compare it to other laptops we have in the house, or my other work laptop, is the quality feel. It just feels solid and looks nice.
