The computer is light and thin. It is very fast, and was very easy to set up for the first time. My daughter is in the 6th grade and is using it daily!!

Works better than I expected. I went through two laptops to find one that really works for me. Its fast which is what I really needed for school work.

We have been extremely happy with this computer. Mostly use it for Internet and some for work. Was a reasonable price and is very light but durable.

I really like my new Dell. It's a great and lightweight 2 in 1. The keyboard is comfortable to type on despite it's small size. The computer functions well- the only reason I didn't give this review 5 stars is because the computer doesn't always register that I've turned off the TouchPad so I can type more easily and use an external mouse. The TouchPad is super sensitive and the pointer on the screen jumps around very easily if it's barely brushed, which is really inconvenient if you're not watching the screen as you're typing. But otherwise, this is a great computer.

This is the first Dell lap top I have purchased. In the past I've either gone with a HP or Toshiba. Hands down this has surpassed both of them.

I bought mine open box. I have had a glitchy track pad like some users have reported. I also got the blue screen of death twice or three times within the first week of having the laptop but I never bothered to return it. After those incidents I have never had another issue with it. The battery life is amazing. As a college student, I use my laptop a lot and it goes everywhere with me. I can use this laptop on and off for about three days without having to charge it. I thought that this was the model that came with the built-in stylus so I was a bit disappointed because I love to draw. I'm still searching for a stylus that is compatible with this model. I love just about everything else about this laptop.

We bought this to replace the laptop that my daughter had for only two years in college, when the lid and screen started to separate beginning at the hinges. I realized that, like most students, she sits up in bed to do work or to watch movies, so the hinges take quite a beating when they are overextended. This one has metal hinges and can flip around to become a tent or tablet, so that problem is solved. The solid state means that she can have it at any angle and not have it affect the hard drive, so that ought to give it a longer life. She also really likes the smaller size, but a regularly-spaced keyboard; it's lightweight, but she doesn't have to sacrifice keyboarding speed to compensate for a smaller keyboard. She really got tired of lugging around a 6 or 7 pound laptop in her bag. So far, so good . . . she set it up by herself up at school and reports no problems so far. (She also says that the display is also fabulous for watching movies!)

Purchased this computer for my teenage daughter, she absolutely loves it, It's fast, perfect size for her backpack, it's very light.

This laptop is the perfect size for travel. I personally like to head to a local coffee shop to get some work done and the size makes it easy to carry. The batter life is amazing aswell. this product is ideal for business or student work.

After reading many reviews we decided to purchase the Dell Inspiron. It was a great size and easy to use. My daughter loved it.

Bought this Laptop for my wife and she loves it. Weight is just right for her. We had a old Toshiba but it was time to upgrade.

I bought this computer for work. The pros are that it starts up quickly, it's a nice size and weight, nice screen quality and easy to set up. Cons are that the soft-ish cover tends to mar a little easier but that's not a big deal.

I love this computer! It's light weight and is not big and bulky like other lap tops. I have had many computers, as my job requires several hours on the computer. I travel and this computer is such a convenient weight and size. I love the touch screen too!

It works great, until it doesn't. Twice in the first month it has frozen for no apparent reason that ctrl + alt + del won't do anything for and I'm forced to manually shut down using power button. Besides the fear of that growing into a serious problem much too soon, it performs adequately with nothing spectacular to brag about but no dragging quality to diminish the rest of it. Sleek look and very portable.

right out of the box, obsolete wireless card drivers caused constant blue screen of death. after a nail biting bout of trying to install the drivers before it decided to crash, i finally fixed it (this happened on the first one i bought and the one i exchanged it for). This prompted me to check the status of all the critical drives, and found, among other, the BIOS and Chipset drivers to be out of date.. The next problem was a that the start button kept activating randomly, which was very distracting and untenable. Dell "help desk" support in INDIA was useless, and actually told me that it was a software issue not covered under warranty, but they kindly offerred to fix it for 33% of what i actually paid for the computer. I took it to Geek Squad and they actually diagnosed a faulty digitizer (a piece of hardware, not software, as Dell India told me). . I'm still waiting on my "repaired" laptop to see what else decides to malfunction. Should have ponied the extra dough for a Mac.. The only useful function is the tablet flip, but the computer feels a bit flimsy so i don't know how long it would last after repeated fold overs..
