My last experience with a Dell laptop several years was not a good one, so to say that I was hesitant to purchase another Dell is an understatement. However, when I was checking out the Best Buy Black Friday sales and reading online reviews, this laptop kept tempting me. I finally said what the heck and purchased it online for store pickup. When I opened the box, the first thing that struck me was the sturdy, quality feel of the computer. I had looked at models from other manufacturers in the same price range, and most of them felt like cheap plastic. This laptop just seemed like a better quality product from the minute I opened the box. When I turned the laptop on and set it up, I was not disappointed by the performance. The computer is easy to set up, is fast, and is not filled with a bunch of unnecessary bloatware. I also tested the use of Netflix, and the picture and sound quality are excellent. I'm not sure you can find a better buy in this price range. Of course, it would be nicer to have a larger hard drive if you planned on using the laptop to store a lot of large files or pictures, but my feeling at the time was that I would prefer the better performance with the smaller Solid State drive while keeping my purchase in this price range--and for me, a 256GB drive is plenty big enough. I haven't had the computer for long, but at this point, it seems to me that Dell got this one right.

This is a great laptop. As a computer modding enthusiast, I am very particular about my tech. I needed something mid grade that could handle multiple tasks with crisp application launch times and solid reliability. This laptop delivers and does so with some flare. First of all the build quality is top notch. The all brushed aluminum chassis makes this thing feel really premium. It is a pleasure to use at night due to the backlit keypad which has a soft and soothing white glow. The iris scanner is awesome. This is one of the only laptops out there that has this feature (called "Hello Windows" in Windows 10). Basically the laptop's camera scans your iris to log you in. At first I thought this would be like voice recognition when it first came out on cell phones. Wrong. It works flawlessly. Takes about 2 seconds and your signed in. Has worked every time for me without fail. Really loving this. At this price point you're also getting a beautiful IPS display unlike other laptops at this price point that will house a TN display. The SSD drive is super fast and handles multi tasking and launching applications with ease. 8GB of DDR4 memory clocked at a frequency of 2133mhz? Now that's just awesome. I like that this laptop is sporting new DDR4 memory vs a lot of the other laptops that are still running DDR3. Another great feature that you get with this laptop is USB type C. This is going to become the new standard and this port will prove useful when I purchase my galaxy note 7 in the near future. Lastly, I want to talk about the touch screen. I've never had a touch screen before and this thing is great. When watching videos or doing some shopping it's great to be able to fold the screen in a tablet form factor and just swipe up and down. Oh, and you won't be disappointed with the audio as well. That was a pleasant surprise. If youre looking for a laptop in this price segment, look no further.

Great quality at a great price. I'm so sick of computers being made of plastic. This one is made and works beautifully. It's touch screen and can be used as a tablet by folding the top all the back. I picked up this computer as a marked down return. Then they gave an addition 80 dollars off. It was 800 and I ended paying 500 . Love this computer ever at the regular price. But I always recommend checking for good as new returns because they are deco untied and they always do further discounting when you ask for the manager. I ha e found out that they have a certain amount of money they can discount daily so the earlier the better!

Best features & value; heavier than some others

I love the 13" screen size. This model is loaded with new features so it will not be obsolete as quick as many others: newest Type-C USB port (but not highest-speed thunderbolt), fast Solid-State Drive (SSD), touchscreen, and special webcam that supports new Windows 10 "Hello" facial recognition. Few laptops offer all this. The precision touchpad is closest you can get to a macbook and much better than the Lenovo Yoga 900. It also includes legacy ports (two USB 3.0; HDMI). Very few laptops offer all this and the ones that do cost much more. The most significant tradeoff is that the Latitude 13-7368 is about a pound heavier than the Yoga 900 and the Dell XPS. In my opinion this offers the best balance of features and price. As a bonus, it has very little if any bloatware; MS Office trial version is preloaded. The i5 version with 256GB SSD is probably fine for most people, but for about $200 more you can get the i7 which comes with a huge 512 SSD and a more RAM. FYI, I use it for extensive web browsing, MS Office, etc; not gaming.

My wife dropped her 5 year old professional Fujitsu and I needed something fast and something lighter. Using a .edu coupon I got this for around 500 plus tax and she really likes it. It is fast, has decent battery life, and is very quiet. The hinges appear strong and the frame does not flex. With its light weight it is less likely to get dropped. The keypad is not as tactile as her owl machine which is expected but still it works for her. Touch screen is a nice bonus and I find her using it more and more every day. Happy wife happy life they say and I have a happy wife

I read many reviews about the different laptops before deciding on purchasing this one. I purchased this lap to use in classes at the technical college. I'm happy that I purchased the 13.3" monitor versus the 15". It's lightweight and doesn't take much space in my book bag. The "Ask me anything" feature is very useful in navigating the components of the computer. Depending on what programs are in use, battery life is about 7 hours after a full charge. I like that I can either use the touch screen or the mouse pad. I really like that I can enlarge the page by moving my fingers across the screen....like you would on a smart phone. I don't like the power button on the lower right hand side because I find myself turning the computer off frequently - I must learn not to do that! Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I was in the hospital when I got an email notifying me there were Surface Pro 4's on sale at Best Buy for $599. On the way home after being discharged the next day (true story) I was disappointed to learn they had sold out. I had three requirements for a new laptop. HD touch screen, backlit keyboard and an SSD. I was eyeballing 2-in-1's and came across this beauty. The SP4 that had been on sale only had a Pentium "M" processor and a 128gb SSD. This Dell has an i5 processor and a 256gb SSD. Both have lighted keyboards. It is lightweight with a gorgeous touch screen and after using it for nearly a month I have decided I don't miss the detachable keyboard. In fact I like the much more solid feel of this one compared to the SP4. There are 2 USB 3.0 ports as well as an HDMI port and an SD card slot plus wireless printing. It's kind of funny but when using it in tablet mode with the kindle app it has the size and heft of of a full-size hard cover book. An added bonus is that using Windows 10 on a machine designed for it has been a joy. The battery life is hours beyond anything I've had in the past. My last notebook was a 17 inch HP about 5 years ago. With the exception of the screen size, which I don't miss at all, this is an exponentially more exciting PC. Definitely a happy surprise.

I bought this laptop for my wife. I'm a Mac person myself, but my wife is more used to Windows. I've purchased Dell Inspirons before and in those past purchases had not liked how the plastic felt cheap and how they were large and clunky. I tried this laptop out at the store. I was happy with the build and was pleasantly surprised by how light it was. This is way easier for my wife to carry around. The SSD also helps with fast boot-up and overall performance. She uses the laptop mainly for word processing, internet, and photo management. Nothing too fancy or requiring a lot of horse power, so this laptop functions very well for her. The touchscreen works well, though we don't use it that often. We're still getting used to the Windows 10 operating system, and were frustrated to find that our Picasa no longer works, with no great alternative. Obviously, that's a function of Windows 10 and not this laptop itself.

I replaced my Lenovo laptop in August with this Dell and extremely happy with the decision. The construction is solid and the finish quality is excellent. I travel with my computer everyday so 13.3” size makes it easy to slide in and out of my backpack and its very light weight. The i5/8GB RAM/256GB SSD combo makes performance faster than any laptop I’ve owned! I will never go back to an SATA drive. My wife and I watch different Netflix shows so the 2-in-1 feature is great for me. Great upgrade and value for the price!

A potentially meaningful caveat to my impressions: I bought this Dell Inspiron on a fairly significant discount. Even with that qualifier, I adore this computer (now some 2-3 months into use). Its performance is exceptional, speedy startup times, fast reactions, minimal loading waits, a bright screen, a comfortable keyboard. This all comes with excellent battery life, and a very light physical weight, meaning it's a computer to use for any task in any situation. Perhaps the only downside is screen size (depending on user preference), but that comes as understood for a device this light. For me? the 13'' screen and the great performance hit all the right notes.

Got this laptop on sale for the upcoming school year and have been satisfied with it fully almost 6 months later. The build quality is very premium. I carry it with me in my backpack almost every day and it has survived without damage so far. The hinge does not feel cheap at all and has a nice stiffness to it. The screen has a good picture and has a very nice touchscreen that is easily my favorite feature of the laptop. Performance has been great, the SSD storage makes boot up times super quick and the overall experience very snappy and quick. My only complaint with the laptop is the aux jack quality is very subpar. There is static noise whenever the touchscreen is used and the overall sound quality is fairly poor. Other than that this laptop is a fantastic buy for the price; would recommend.

This computer is fast! It boots in less than 20 seconds. I love the solid state drive. There is a trade off, though. I have filled close to half of the available storage. I think the strategy here is to store on OneDrive, which works great. To be fair, I did transfer an awful lot of info over to it on day one, and I have not quite gotten used to the whole "cloud" thing yet. I primarily use it for a simplified AutoCad program which takes a lot of time to render on a normal computer. On this one, I would say it takes 1/4 of the time. So, not a computer for massive storage, but for quick booting and quick usage of programs, it is top notch. Also, the tablet mode is pretty cool, though I do not use it often.

Made this purchase as a replacement for an aging laptop. The size, battery life, and weight are all perfect for business travel. Large enough to be functional but small enough to open when flying coach. Enough memory and processing power for running virtual machines and doing presentations. Perfect for my needs. Unfortunately I noticed that occasionally it would minimize my current window and the mouse would jump to the lower right corner of the screen. After several weeks of troubleshooting and research, I traced it back to an electrical fault that registers a phantom finger touch on the bottom right corner of the screen. I tried to exchange my unit but the unhelpful folks at Best Buy refused because it was past the 15-day return window. Geek squad offered to ship away to Dell for several weeks for repair. So the fix is to leave the touch screen disabled. This is disappointing but the best I can do for now. Not sure if this is a design flaw with this model or a defect in my unit. I guess we'll know after we get some more reviews.

I have loved Dell for several years but when I first saw the 2-1s from another company I almost jumped ship. However, I saw this one from Dell and I had to get it. It’s solid and performs well. I think this is a great laptop for anyone who wants both a laptop and tablet.

This purchase has been the purchase of the year for me. This laptop is crucial to my business needs, and it meets all of the requirements. The smaller screen and the solid state HD is fantastic. Solid state hard drives are the way to go, they are faster, cooler temperature and quiet! Another plus is this laptop is also a 2 & 1, tablet/laptop. Very convenient for an on the go person. I highly recommend this laptop, and the purchase at Best Buy was the best price. It beat Amazons pricing.
