This is a sweet little machine. The specs are great and wrapped up in an awesome little package. I did have to exchange it because the first was defective, but no big deal. This sounds pretty common in the reviews though. I use it for a lot of research and some light .NET development. This machine has handled anything I’ve thrown at it, and has done so very quickly and efficiently. You will be hard pressed to find another machine with an i7 processor, 12GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Just buy it, you won’t be disappointed, even if you have to exchange it once or twice!

I spent months researching a computer that would meet my needs which include portability, powerful processor, SSD, battery life, and looks! I found everything I wanted in this laptop. This was a great purchase.

After looking at many computers I found this one at a very reasonable price. Works well, is light, has touch screen,and regular size keyboard that is back lighted. Have not had any issues so far and think this will be a pretty good computer for the long run,

If you are looking for a fast, lightweight laptop that lets you work like an iPad or with a regular keyboard, look no further. This laptop works great and lets me take my business on the road. I recommend thia laptop for personal or business use.

First computer I've had with an SSD. Amazing. Very fast. Super light and portable. Not a fan of the power button on the side, but that's a minimal complaint. Overall, great computer.

So far, this computer has been fantastic. It starts up as quickly as it did when I first bought it, the storage space is exactly what I need. I don't have to do a lot of multitasking, but this computer is able to handle my usual 10 Google Chrome browser windows open, MS Word, MS Excel, and possibly iTunes without slowing down. Very very pleased.

I had been looking for a lightweight touchscreen laptop and focused on 13' screen sizes to keep the weight and price down. After buying cheap laptops the last few years I decided to up my budget to something with the latest chipset and a lot of ram to handle windows 10. Good news is this new dell is up to the challenge. Touch screen functions are excellent and flipping it back activates tablet mode to deactivate the keyboard. Battery life is great and it doesn't heat up when sitting in my lap. I looked online at amazon and found best buy had better deals and more recent models which made me more confident in my purchase. I also found this on sale at my local best buy when I visited in person. Great job Dell and Best Buy!

Fast, light weight, great screen. The 512G SSD is really fast and plenty big, and coupled with the 12G RAM makes for a machine that boots very fast and provides snappy performance, even with engineering apps. Initially had a problem where the Start menu would constantly open and close without inputs. Spent a day troubleshooting, and finally found a firmware update on the Dell website that fixed it. Should have auto-update app installed from the factory to fix these types of problems. Narrowly avoided returning the unit and giving it a single star. Would be 5 stars but for this issue.

This laptop is honestly worth getting. Its so fast and i have had this for about 4 months and have not had a problem with it at all. I would give it 5 stars but the only thing i don't like about it is the location of the power button (its on the bottom side of the laptop) and the weight (its not heavy at all but heavier than most laptops. Other than that I feel it beats a macbook in specs. Apple makes its money of its brand name but for almost half the price you get double the specs in this laptop and its touch screen which is a major plus. So worth it and do not regret buying.

My old laptop had started to give me a variety of problems, so it was time for an upgrade. Most of my family has Dell laptops, but I hadn't had one so I was a little leery of getting one, as they're not a brand you hear much about anymore. I was thrilled with the light-weight aluminum casing, which will hopefully hold up well. My only frustration so far is that the power cord has a tendency to slide out, but that's not a big deal as the battery life is plenty. I love the solid state drive as it start up much faster than any other laptop I've ever used and also is very quiet. The backlit keyboard is a nice feature too.

I needed a laptop to check emails, download photos, make videos, and to travel with and this one did just the job. It's lightweight, holds a charge, and is extremely fast!

It is a very good computer! It is fast and it is not heavy, so, if you use to carry you computer in your backpack, this machine is a good choice! I really liked it!

This laptop is I7 processor, light weight 3.44 lb, very fast start up due to SSD drive (512). I would highly recommend anyone looking for replacement for Mac book Air

I've only had this computer for less than 6 months, but I am pretty pleased with it. It has good speed (my last computer was slow as molasses). The touch screen is pretty responsive, although I have not used it in tablet mode. I purchased the computer for school/work as I do a lot of data analysis using database and statistics software. This computer holds up well to most of my work, but can be slow when doing moderately large operations that use a lot of memory. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would do it again.

Excellent product, had a shortcoming of the speakers which I read in other reviews as well. thats a bug in Dell laptop as soon as you put a song on speaker, there is disturbance and then the sound becomes smooth. As in product wise, this is good, light weight and handy. If you a college student, it will serve your purpose. It is touch screen you feel and you feel its like a book. Overall product is very good and reliable. I have always bought Dell laptops and they are much more reliable than Lenovo, HP, etc.

Love the size, speed, storage, touch screen of this PC. Replaced three total PCs with these and got a coworker to buy one as well.

I am a online student. I travel a lot and needed something portable but powerful. One of the main reasons I purchased this specific laptop is because of its SSD or Solid State Drive. It has a more shock resistant hard drive. Since I carry it with me a great deal and my laptop can get tossed around in transit, I wanted a solid system. It is a 2 in one which is great. Its like having a machine that's between a note book and a laptop. It does everything I need it to do.

This laptop is fast reliable and works very well. The screen is bright and the touch is very accurate. It is light and very easy to switch to tablet mode.

I am a professional in the technology industry. I selected this 2 in 1 for my non technical wife. We were looking for an easy to use, lightweight and sub $1000 laptop. Initially we really wanted a Mac but price was an issue. This dell is powerful, easy to use, has touchscreen and is small enough and lightweight enough to double as a tablet. On top of that the screen resolution is amazing. I want one for work. Only con is it won't charge with USB-C.
