This laptop has been great so far. Extremely fast, good looking, and easy to use. I would have given it 5 stars, but like another reviewer, I had an issue with the popping/crackling sound. It only seems to do this with headphones or external speakers through the headphone jack. I ran some updates on my own, and ended up calling Dell because it seemed like this was a known issue on some of their previous models. I was a little displeased that they tried to send me to the store for a replacement, or send it to them for repair. I was able to get to 2nd level after telling them it felt like a driver issue. Once we updated the driver, so far it has fixed the issue. Hopefully Dell resolves this sound problem on newer machines, and they stop leaving the factory like this.

It's a great laptop. Looks and feels cool. Works perfect. The only negative thing is the position of the power button. Its at a place where right-handed people usually hold a laptop. Except this, this was a best buy from Best Buy

I definitely looked for the lightest and most powerful tablet for the money spent. Seems a little buggy, don't know if it is Win 10, but I find apps don't respond to touch commands at times. So not a 5 star, but it is i7 at least. I was hoping for a detachable tablet too, but I'd have to go to the MS Surface which was a little over my price point. I am also disappointed that w/in 15 days the price dropped $50 but Best Buy won't price match their own price drops unless I make the claim to them within the 15 days. I had to call 800# to find out about the policy too, so it is something they don't like to reveal to their customers.

After reading lots of reviews, I pulled the trigger on this laptop. Dell's were never my thing, but I bought it anyways. This laptop blew me away! It's very sleek, has good battery life, and the touch screen is a must for any Windows laptop. Love this laptop.

Very happy with the Dell 13" laptop. The solid state drive starts up quickly and the touch screen works well. I don't play games on this laptop but the combination of 12 gigs of ram, i7 processor, and ss drive works extremely well for everything I've thrown at it.

Love the solid state HD. Super fast. Great HD screen. Very quite .Only minor regret is the wifi card they used could be faster. Maxed out at 50 mbps. Upgraded the card and all is well . No CD drive and no lan port.

I've had this PC for about a month and love it so far. It travels very well. Great screen, clear and bright, very light weight overall and fast. Only complaint would be with Windows Cortana. DON'T activate it!

I bought this unit for my son on his return back to college. I also have the same laptop with the 256 GB Solid State Drive that I have upgraded to a 1TB Drive. Had mine for a year with no issues at all. Love the lighted keyboard and touchscreen!

Bought this to shadow my Dell all in one.I have had great service out of my Dell desktops for 20+ years and upgraded with 2 new Inspirons... I also like my Apple products, but these Dells run my business end and accounting portion with great success. I am a small business and would recommend to anyone...I also bought one for my wife to help with my Excell reports as well as take care of her own marketing/ support needs for her advertising business. We do not do any gaming or graphics design. We do everyday average computer exercises along with accounting,reports and general business duties. I would recommend to a friend .

After extensive search for a laptop that was high performance - latest Intel processor 12kb of RAM and a 512GB SSD this Dell machine met the requirement. Its fast and has plenty of storage.

I purchased this laptop as best buy had a better deals than anyone. I was not disappointed. right size and speed, and level of functionality by son needs for high school.

A very good deal for students. You can have a laptop and a tablet for the price of one. Long battery and clear screen are relevant in this laptop. Also, it's very light to transport.

Starts very fast and shut down in an instant. This laptop is very light and takes up little room. The screen is very clear. this is my primary computer and it is compact enough for travel. no need for multiple devices.

This thing lives up to all my hopes and expectations. Fast start up, processing, sound (although speakers are at the bottom), keyboard feel, touch screen responsiveness, all really great. One thing was that some update occurred and suddenly I could not type numbers or the windows key anymore... After a lot of research and talking to Dell for 2 hours (who could not help), I discovered it was some Intel software that was causing the problem. Also the battery is not as good as I had hoped. I would give it a 4.5.

I bought this laptop to go back to school and to replace my old, slow laptop. This laptop is great for a beginner or experienced computer users, as it is very quick and easy to manage. My only issue with this product is that the battery life does not last very long. As most it maybe lasts 4ish hours. I dont use the touch screen very often but it is very sensitive and accurate. Overall a great computer for a student especially if you sign up for the BestBuy student deals! I got an extra $150 off the computer!

This laptop is just the right size and weight for me. I was looking for something that would be easier to take places. I added a wireless mouse and mousepad. Everything fits in the carrying case I bought.

It is light and fast. The screen resolution is very good.

I got this $999 laptop for $699 under student deal and I must say it's a nice deal in that price range. It serves every daily usage purpose and dell support is good in resolving any issues you come across. There are some minor issues like fan running sometimes even on minor load and some cracking sound from aux port usage but as they say nothing in this world is perfect :-) Go ahead if you need a need a good laptop in decent price, its value for money.

Got this for my 10 year old granddaughter and she loves it. The touch screen is great she can create and play. Plenty of power and memory. This is high end at a good price

This is the best laptop I've had to date and I've had at least 10 or more of them. It's fast, lightweight, powerful and has cool features like face recognition for login.
