Although not quite as fast as expected, and not a ton of room, will do everything you need from a laptop. Used mostly for programming, so i use external hard drive for large items

I bought this computer approximately a year ago, and already the battery life is down to two hours even though I don't use it that often. This laptop the great machine and it is almost perfect in every way, but I really don't think that a machine which is built for portability and yet has a battery life where you're going to have to plug it in everywhere is very logical. Also, one of the USB ports it's already loose and does not maintain connection and this interface of Windows 10 does not work well with any Google products such as Google Drive

This laptop was a great price and has preformed flawlessly

A couple months after I bought this Dell Inspiron, an intermittent problem appeared. When I shut it down or closed the lid, it would not fully shut down. The screen went black, but the keyboard lit, the cpu generated heat and the battery drained. Only way to restart was to hold the power button down - repeatedly. Then startup became "maybe this time, maybe not." Still under warranty, I called Dell support. They said this was a "software problem" so they could do nothing. Umm.. Really? Problem got worse and more frequent. So I took it to Best Buy Geek squad. They said this was a "hardware problem" so they could do nothing (nothing practical - given costs etc). Online searches showed this same problem occurs with others who bought this the Dell Inspiron. If this is a known issue, there should have been a recall. Bottom line - Dell was unreliable, unpredictable. When I needed them for the warranty, they were inaccurate (deceptive?) and let me down. If it worked it was nice. But it was unpredictable. Will it start when I want? Who knows? I rely on a good laptop for my job. So I had to buy another laptop in less than two years. My first requirement for a new laptop: that it is not a Dell. I will never buy a Dell again. In my experience, it was a waste of money. I regret this purchase.

Overall great laptop for the price. I have been averaging 8-9 hrs on battery. Sometimes the fan is a tad loud and it very rarely runs hot. Would recommend this to others. Great build quality.

This computer is very fast and I love the touch screen

There are a lot of things to like about this laptop. Build quality, screen resolution, and performance all are great when you consider the price. You realize why it's that price once it comes to the battery life Unfortunately after several days of trying different methods to increase the battery life (deleting unnecessary apps that run in the background, using battery management features, etc) I was still hovering around 4-5 hours before it was time to plug it in again. If that wont' be an issue for you, then this is definitely a laptop to consider.

cant really review this one because it was purchased as a XMAS gift. i did speak with a BestBuy associate and they referred me to this model.Based off the floor model, it seemed very reliable and has teh ability to be used as a tablet as well.

The dell laptop was in really good price when I bought it, it has 8th i7 processor and 256G hard drive, which is really enough for people to use daily. The touch screen is acute and with the coordination of the newest Surface pen, I can take notes very conveniently using onenote. So it is great in daily use.

This laptop is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a while. The processor is fast, the facial recognition is a very cool feature, and the screen resolution is great. I would recommend getting if you don’t want to drop a ton of money on a windows surface or Mac. It’s a great and cheaper alternative.

I purchased this combination tablet/laptop when my desktop pc was threatenting to crash. The very well-informed associate at Best Buy went over my needs vs my wants and recommended this product. I am so glad he did. It is super fast, and super convenient to take from office to home to wherever. Highly recommend.

Really enjoying my new laptop. I've only had it for a month but so far so good. It was so easy to set up and transfer data. It's lightweight and just the right size to carry when travelling. Value for money was extraordinary and I also took advantage of the marketed discounts Best buy had on offer.

This Dell laptop has not disappointed! It's slim, easy to carry, and cute. Perks: touch screen and the audio is decent. It has bluetooth capabilities which makes it easy to connect to my JBL speaker! Great for watching movies and also great for school work! Definitely recommend!

This laptop has been perfect for my father who needed a lightweight computer to travel with. He uses basic functions such a Office, internet browsing, etc. so nothing fancy needed. The talk feature is very helpful as well as the option to touch the screen, use the keyboard, mouse, etc.

This is a well priced laptop. Performance is pretty good - in general, have had good experience with Dell laptops. This is also stylish (unlike my previous Dell) and light weight. Sound can be a little better. But I don't use it for watching movies, so this isn't a show stopper.

Love the quickness of the i7. I usually keep laptops 5-8 years. I believe this will be my last one till 2025. Only thing that I don't like is the short battery life, but it's still double of what my previous laptop battery. On hard use, you could get as little as 2 hours. On normal use, 4-6

I like the look and function of his laptop. I wish I had chosen a larger hard drive. I do have some issues with accidental erasures from movement of the cursor.

I’ve been a Dell computer owner for several years. This laptop is the lightest and fastest model I’ve owned. Very impressive. Color is great. Best Buy has been great for my wife and I to deal with. The chance to explore “hands-on” , and ask a few questions is greatly appreciated.

Overall, the product was a good purchase. Although my only real complaint is the battery life, that is to be expected from a laptop like this.
