This laptop is fantastic. As a graphic designer, I was going to purchase an iPad and Apple Pencil for sketching to accompany my desktop PC. However, those would cost around the same price as this extremely speedy laptop. I actually picked it up to replace an older Macbook Pro that was going on me, and am very happy with it. The included Dell Active Pen works great on the laptop's screen in both regular and tablet modes. The SSD and 16gbs of RAM make this laptop extremely fast to start and get right into the action.

I am a former Surface Pro 3 AND Surface Pro 4 user. When it was time for an upgrade, I knew it was time for a larger display. I took a look at the Surface Book 2, but I could not justify the expense--especially without the kickstand I have grown to rely on. So I asked what machines had comparable hardware configurations, and found this Dell at about 3/5 the cost of a similarly equipped Surface Book. I only wish it was fully detachable. But, all in all, this has been a great investment.

This Dell Inspiron is a great laptop, solid built, fast, easy to use and with a 4k display. The screen can get bright and has vivid colors. It comes with an i7 processor, NVIDIA video card and 16GB of ram which makes the laptop very fast and easy to use when watching 4k content without any lag. This laptop is perfect for video editing and video games or for anyone who wants a fast and easy to use laptop. At under $1,200, this is the best 4k laptop you’ll find at this price point.

This is a great and fast laptop for a college student. Especially if you have those programs that are graphic based.

I was impressed on how light weight and thin this laptop is. It is so fast too. It doesn’t have a CD ROM drive but I had a portable one so I was OK with that. I didn’t need the two in one screen but I was in a jam and needed a computer ASAP so I didn’t have time to go on the Internet. I had to buy it from the store. I haven’t used it in that aspect as of yet and probably never will. I don’t have any complaints and nothing but good to say about this laptop.

4.5 stars. Got this as a open box certified and it was a great deal. The screen is a lil more dim/dark than I wanted but still great 4K quality. Kind of large and wish I bought the 13” as I find myself not using the 2in1 feature often. Definitely recommend shopping for open box certified though!

I was looking for a speedy but light weight laptop. I am returning to the classroom and needed a laptop to drive my classroom presentations. This laptop checks all the boxes due to 16 GB ram and 512 GB ss drive. It loads quickly and performs seamlessly. The graphics, audio and display pack are also spot on. I have not always been a big Dell supporter but this LT may have brought me back to the Dell camp.

I recommend you do not buy this unless you REALLY need 4K, as 4K takes more battery power and many applications do not display properly, and there are no display settings in Windows 10 that fix all of the issues with all the applications, The display issue is with most 4K displays and not just this laptop, Even though it is pre-loaded with Windows 10 Home edition, the SSD is formatted using Bitlocker encryption by Dell at the factory, and this may affect some disk utilities and has to be considered with some disk backup and management utilities. Keep a record of the Bitlocker key in case you have to restore or reinstall. It has been getting more stable as Dell and MSFT have updated device drivers and device firmware. If you decide that you can deal with the issues with 4K mentioned above, I recommend that you IMMEDIATELY apply all the latest MSFT AND Dell updates or I expect you to have instabilities, BSODs etc. Hope that helps...

This laptop is very fast with a great 4k screen. Great for everday use.

It’s very versatile, lightweight, easy to switch between laptop and tablet mode.

I was looking for a 2 in 1 laptop, light, portable, but also big enough to carry it with my customers to show them videos and pictures of what I sell, and of course fast as I do not want my client to be waiting until the computer start. This computer has all of the above and the price was right at my budget, I would buy it again. A little more than 2 months with it and very happy.

This laptop boots up super fast. The resolution is gorgeous. The fact that it is also touch screen is a plus when working with things such as digital art. The only con I have seen so far is the fact that it does not feature a disk drive for the price paid for it. Overall this was a great purchase and I have not run across any issues in the past couple months that I have had it.

Great computer love the 2 in 1 and touch screen, very easy to use

At first, I was really satisfied with my purchase. The i7 processor works really well and 4K display looks beautiful. However, 4 months into owning it, the SD port is broken (it broke about a month into ownership) and the hinge is broken out of place to the point of me not even being able to close the laptop. I am by no means treating it roughly, but I do use and travel with my laptop daily for work and online classes. This is not normal wear and tear, especially so soon after purchasing it new. Overall, works well, but I'm pretty frustrated with how fragile it is proving to be, especially because I depend on the product for work. I've been a loyal Dell customer and the price point for the specs on this was definitely attractive, but now I'm thinking maybe I should have made the leap to Apple.

I started a new independent consulting business and discovered my 7 year old laptop that was great for paying bills no longer was good enough for my needs. We went to our local Best Buy, spoke to a very helpful team lead, and chose this laptop. It is fast, easily "accepts" all of my business software, and is very light to carry around on jobs.
