I purchased this laptop as an open box. There was a crack on the bottom case but it has not mattered. all is good and works great. The only thing that could be better is the power cord can easily come out of the laptop where it plugs in. I have found it out of the hole just enough and therefore not charging many times if I have the laptop on my lap or a where it moves. Sitting on a desk is not as much of an issue. It does not just freely fall out nor does it feel loose but does come out sometimes.

This ASUS is super fast, and has a great clean look. The screen has a nice look to it, and the resolution is super sharp. Great, great computer for the price point! Love it!

    Hi-Res (4K) & Basic PC Speed

Solid device and good size tablet convertible. The basic pc speed is just that, basic. I recommend upgrading to solid state & 16GB of RAM to truly enjoy this laptop. The 4k touch display is wonderful and the increase in RAM really helps since video is shared memory and built into the processor (it is NOT a separate video card).

This product is light-weight and fine for travel. My issue is that the resolution of the screen is poor when moving a lot.

I bought this 2 use with professional artist software. I had been excited to use the software with the ultra hd screen. I found out that this particular model (core i-7, ultra hd) has a problem with the drivers and thus does not support the use of the smart pens that make digital art so comprehensive. The main drawback to not having the smart pen use is the lack of pressure sensitivity. The software does still work using a regular stylus, but is less comprehensive as such. Also, there is no way to upgrade the graphics, which is kind of a waste with the great processor and screen. So, considering the price, I say this is a great purchase, but if you are a serious artist, or gamer, this one is not going to impress you. FYI: I contacted Dell support and was told the driver issue is being addressed, but I found another reviewer who was told the same thing several months ago, so, who knows if it will actually happen. The screen/picture quality is stunning, the device feels high quality. The size is great, but it gets hot quick and gets heavy after a while. When used in tablet mode, the keys are precariously exposed and will be damaged if the device is set on hard surfaces. The sound is excellent and literally surprised me the first time I heard music on it. Yet, overall I think this is a decent product and I have enjoyed it.

Sadly, after about 2 weeks I kept getting an error message and on occasion my screen would "shake" or "shimmy" took my laptop into Best Buy to the Geek Squad, where I had to pay $200 for them to look at my less than a month old laptop. They reinstalled all the video graphics and gave it back to me after about a week. Came home and it's not fixed. Now I have an apt with Dell on-line to see if they can solve the problem with my new computer. Not thrilled.

I bought this laptop and decided to switch out the hard drive to a Samsung EVO SSD to increase performance. It runs amazingly fast now. From power on the being on the home screen after logging in takes 15 seconds. The only I've had was that it gets very hot when sitting flat on your lap/a pillow of some sort. Probably will want a fan deck to sit it on for those uses.

Purchased two of these for a friend's kids who are entering college. Swapped out the 1TB drive with an SSD and installed the hard drive in an external drive case to create a portable 1TB drive. Touchscreen works well. The system performs great with the SSD. As far as I know they are still using the system 4 years later.

This Laptop comes with the latest 4K Ultra Hi Def display for this price. Has a 15 inch display the latest i7 Processor and a 1TB hard drive. Just wish it had 16 GB RAM instead of the 8GB but good enough for what I need to do. Although it suffers at times with the display for some reason unknown and I am sure DELL knows about it but will they update the firmware to help? Time will only tell so far nothing from DELL.

I am a computer hardware engineer. The inside of this Dell Inspiron 15 7568 is very well laid out. This is a far superior design when compare to the Macbook Pro by Apple. With the Sandisk 480 MB SSD installed it boots from power-on in less than 25 seconds. So far, so good. A very good product.

This laptop is great for the on the go college student. I love that it can be used as a standard laptop and then folded down as a tablet. The touchscreen is important as I can use this with my music classes with the apps that work with my instruments. I would recommend this for the quality and the cost. Affordable for college students.

I have gone through a couple of these Dells and continue to be frustrated by the glitches that continue to plague primarily all of the Dell 4K laptop models (does not seem to matter whether they have 5th or 6th gen. Intel processors nor does an I5 versus I7 seem to make any difference). I have talked to and visited with multiple Geek Squad members as well as numerous online forums about the ongoing glitches and have been told by all whom have dealt with such issues that many of the problems are a direct result of the 4K screen as the laptop is just not made to be able to handle the extra resolution and thus leads to constant failures with the graphics and processing. Overall this laptop performs as a 6th gen. I7 should but with the constant headache and fear of having the unit spaz out while trying to complete a task I am not really sure this is the best option, at least not until the bugs have been worked out.
