The display is not very good but the performance and weight is something commendable for this laptop. Really liked the flip screen of the laptop and does not loosen up even after rough use over a year. Touch is receptive.

Love this computer! It’s perfect for what I needed! Just one con: no CD drive and it is really needed for me. I got an external CD drive. Overall, I Love it!

The first thing you have to do is update the drivers from Dell, and make sure to disable the power saving features of the wi-fi adapter. If the wi-fi adapter goes to sleep, you can't reconnect to the network without rebooting. After discovering the fix, the laptop has worked great. It is lightweight, has fast connectivity and long battery life. I would recommend this as a great budget laptop - I purchased it on sale for $499....can't beat the price!

this Dell laptop is very easy to operate even tho I still have areas untapped as I am not tech savvy but the Geek Squad is the perfect addition for me and worth the cost....

Bought with the college discount for under $500 (with tax) and I'm not disappointed. Screen resolution is great and I really like the back lit keyboard (which has two intensity levels). Very light and compact for a 15" laptop.

There are programs on it that I have not even begun to use. But what I have learned to use I like very much. As an almost octogenarian I am not acquainted with many aspects of the world of computers. But so far I have been able to do with it what I need. Many older people may find this product to be easier to use than older systems they may have had.

I was very picky to chose a laptop for my college course and once I saw this product and the reviews I knew it would be prefect for me. Fast and very efficient!!

faster,sleek/light weight, use as a notebook,convenience

I'm not a techie (at all). I use this laptop more or less as a desktop to save space. It suits my needs perfectly, and I especially like the touch screen feature and bright, intense screen images. It's fast too.

Occasionally get notification that the Display Driver has stop working and has been restored. Took back to Geek Squad. Said problem was resolved. Still getting error message .

Works well....very fast. Love the tablet option. After returning the first one because the modem was bugging out, EXTREMELY happy with the performance.

Good equipment but Windows 10 still has some flaws

I don't normally write reviews, but I definitely read them before making big purchases and to me, a new laptop is a big purchase. I was lucky in the fact that my son had a similar model that he purchased last year for college. I would definitely recommend this laptop to coworkers, friends and family!

This computer is much better than the last one she had. We had to figure out Windows 10 a bit, but my wife is extremely happy with it.

I had reviewed many 2-in-1 devices before selecting this one, including multiple Dell models. The configuration of this device provides a high quality solution for students and business users. This device is built well and handles the flexibility of a 2-in1 design. The ability to fold the screen into multiple positions has been very useful and the hinges manage the transitions well and remain stable. I am a fan!

It's a well rounded mid-range laptop with great aesthetic appeal. Screen produces good vibrant color and crisp images. Backlit keyboard is snappy and keys are well spaced out for quiet and accurate typing. Initial start-up is a bit laggy being that it's using a spinning HDD. If you want fast startup, might want to consider a model with a solid state drive (SSD). The laptop is nice and thin, relatively light, and feels solid in terms of quality and build. Trackpad is responsive enough although I typically prefer a nice wireless mouse to use with my laptops. For general use and not too intensive graphic processing power, this is a good buy!

We got a great deal on this laptop and it was well worth the investment. It's super fast, has tons of hard drive space, enough USB ports for my wireless mouse and other devices.

Overall, this is a very good laptop for the price. It was an open box so I paid about $ 500.00. It's a very good desktop replacement. The I-5 chip is fast enough to render Photoshop transforms quickly, The integrated video chip is adequate for TV and the display is sharp but not ideal for hard core gaming. I've had two Toshiba's in two years where the lid, LCD and hinges break apart even though they were no abused. One of my main goals was to find a laptop with sturdy hinges. From all appearances, the hinges are solid and large enough for the 2n1 duty, The pros and cons: Sturdy construction. 2N1 and touch screen. Intel I5 processor is fast enough. The display is good but not ideal for gaming. The lighted keyboard is nice although the keyboard is small compared to the overall size. It could accommodate a far larger keyboard with numeric keypad. The small keyboard is cramped and slows typing. The sound qualities are good. The 500 Gig HD is small but adequate to a point. You'll need an external HD if you're doing lots of photo or video. It has no CD/DVD player but that's not uncommon for this small profile. External CD/DVD's are inexpensive but just another thing that you'll lug around if you need it. I was surprised that it didn't have a Network jack so if you need to connect to a wired network, you need an adapter. I've had this laptop for a about a month and so far I am satisfied. It does everything I need. The touch screen and 2n1 aspects weren't a must have item for me but there are times when the feature comes in handy.

I had this laptop less than 24 hours when I started to receive messages about the display driver failing. I called the Geek squad to see what they had to say and, after a bit of phone tag, the agent walked me through a driver update. Less than twenty minutes later I was again receiving messages that my display driver was failing. This is going back for exchange as soon as I can find time in my schedule. Thank goodness for warranty/extended coverage! I would recommend to a friend, but not without a coverage plan.

I didn't research first, but worked with a blue shirt. They got me exactly what I wanted in my price range! Great product!
