Very bright, clear screen. Operates fast and doesn’t take up much desk space. Nice to have an All-in-one without a tower.

OK, I just got this a couple days ago and first impressions:
+ It is lightweight, yet feels substantial
+ The screen picture is really good. Not great, but for most computing purposes, certainly effective.
+ The touch-screen is accurate and responsive. I have had no issues with it.
+ The processor is great. Clocking 3200+ core speed consistently.
+ The NIC is also great. I have no problem regularly hitting 830+ Mbps for both upload and download from fiber Internet.
+ Set up was simple and clean. Much appreciated the all-in-one design. Beats the heck out of old tower system and under-desk cable/power clutter is GREATLY reduced.
+ Speakers. I debated whether to put the speakers in the + category or = category. End of day, I decided they were good enough for +. The sound is pretty good for most people (I think) who tinker away on the internet or fiddling around with spreadsheets while streaming music or watching TV on-screen. I mean, for most people who are audiophiles, few stock speakers would be good enough and external can always be added to this machine. End of day, the speakers are good enough for most.
= Wireless mouse and keyboard are... Well, just that. Basic mouse and wireless keyboard. They are certainly effective and offer positive tactile feedback, but there are several add on opportunities that can easily be picked up at Best Buy any day of the week.
= Set up. There were some time consuming updates that were required, but is that fault of the PC or the OS? I put it in the = category instead of the - category because the blame is not all the fault of the PC.
- OK. here is where the jury is still out. When you return to PC after a period of time (30 minutes +) it has a tendency to not go to sleep but instead powers off. I have tried multiple power setting options and so far the only work around is to keep the PC and screen in "Never Turn Off" mode. I am going to fiddle around for the next couple of days to get this resolved. I am sure I'll figure it out but it's a little disappointing.
End of day, I'll give it 4 stars because in spite of the problem, Best Buy is always easy to do business with and from past experience, Dell also has good support. In all honesty, I really do like the machine and SO MUCH appreciate the mess of cables, power chords and audio/video/USB cables that this replaces.
Nice unit, but with a slight asterisk I'm confident can be overcome.

I would have easily given a five star but there was a software bug which I had to work with an agent with Dell to rectify. It was a nasty bug which caused the PC to reboot with the blue screen after only about three minutes. So you have to be fast to intercept and fix the problem. I had to refresh the PC and start over. About 20 hours of work. But now everything is fine. This is a fast and great all in one.

Very nice and sturdy. My screen unfortunately has the huge strip of dead pixels going from top to bottom in the center of the screen. It must be a manufacturing fault. I only had the computer for 9 days. I will return for a new one. I'm still giving it 4 stars because it's a great computer. I just want people to be aware they should purchase the protection plan. All-in-1 desktops w/ touch screen are sometimes prone to these issues. I would buy this again and recommend it.

Had to give up my ancient Dell laptop that I loved so bought another Dell because of satisfaction w/previous Dell computer. Love it. Best Buy Geek Squad transferred my info/set new one up as I requested/quick training and off I go. Nice size screen. Great clarity. Nice keyboard and mouse. Fast start up. Very pleased.

Much faster than one it replaced; we needed to do our own add-ons such as MSN Live Mail and WordPerfect. Most significantly it crashed due to an untraceable and uncontrollable update - after only 28 days from its initial delivery, it had to be returned for service to Geek Squad for 3 days - unclear reasons, so a little nervous about its reliability long-term.

I know I bought this open box, but still I was expecting a bit more in terms of endurance and less glitches. But as usual, Dell's suspect quality, comes out. There are times that when all the USB ports are in use, it suffers some power dysfunction that my wifi would cut out; like there is not enough power to sustain it functioning. Once I free up at least two USB ports that are sucking up power, then my wifi would turn back on. I also had to upgrade my 12Gb to 16GB since this system is having a hard time handling two different RAM sizes at 12Gb (4Gb + 8Gb). There we re blue screen incidents, and windows hanging wpisodes. But after changing the RAMs with two identical Kingston 8Gbs, now it is running better, but not fantastic. Still some hanging but not as bad or slow to pick up before the upgrade. The HDD is also so slow. But then again, it is a Dell.
