I'm not a techy person, so I listened to what the employee said I needed when I described my issues with current desktop. Went through 3 purchases before doing my own homework and finding this one. It gets the job done and doesn't bog down/freeze up with the CAD program.

I was trying to find Dell Mobile Connect (which wasn't pre-installed as advertised) and then in the App Store it said my device was not compatible with the app and then it froze, got a blue screen with a quick message I couldn't even read all of (something about resetting) and then it turned off and wouldn't turn back on with the press of the power button. I closed it and when opened got a "Pre-Boot System Performance Check" with a Critical Error Message and "Hard Drive - No NVMe Drive Detected on PCI tag 0200. Complete inconvenience and waste of hours picking up and setting up the device that died pretty much immediately.

It is over eight years old. Windows 10 works on it quite well but several features are not available. Age (possibility of finally dying) and missing Windows 10 features required buying a second unit. Stick with what works! After two months, great machine but have yet to hardly scratch the surface of all the capabilities. Excellent battery life, great screen, etc. etc. Very happy. Bought this one as an "open box." Open box has always been a good choice.
