It's a decent computer for the price. It comes with an i7 4790U? If you're looking for a desktop with room to grow to fit your needs, and you can find this computer for <= $450 then I would recommend it. There's room to add a second drive which I would recommend using to add an SSD to boot from. There are also slots available to add more memory. Note that this computer comes with non-free software which violates your software freedoms. I recommend upgrading to debian or arch linux, or installing gentoo.

I ordered this computer based on the fact that it has listed the i7-4790 @ 4.0GHz . However upon receiving the item it has the 3.60Ghz model. This is very upsetting to me as I planned on using the computer as a media server and the 4.0GHz model performs better costing me 2 possible streams from my server. Everything else is as advertised. Upon calling customer service they stated that I would need to return the computer as a wrong item however when I took it to the store they stated that it is just mislabeled online and if I returned the item i would be sent the exact same thing. This is very upsetting to me. This needs to be corrected on the website asap. Other than that the computer runs fine and is as stated in the ad.

It's hard to get an i7 processor at a cheap price! This system has that with enough power to run games and photoshop. It does lack a video card, but one can easily be added. Nice system for a nice price!

purchased primarily because it was $200 off. a core i7 processor is nice, but in an inspiron dell won't allow for a high end video card without increasing the power supply wattage . and the motherboard only has 2 memory slots, and one pci express x16, but I knew the limitations . fan is very quiet and I added a second blu-ray drive. It also allows for a second internal hard drive. Happy with purchase and for the most part pleased with windows 10 after being a windows 7 user. I would recommend this computer for anyone not concerned with adding high end components.

I purchased this Dell desktop PC for my wife on Black Friday 2015. We saved about $320.00 on the bundle with the Dell E2414HM monitor. It was time for an upgrade from her old PC and this one offered decent starting RAM, plenty of hard drive space for her, and has one of the better Intel Core i7 processors. It's a lot faster than her old one, but we will likely have to add more RAM in the future.

Easy to set up and use, it combines speed to start with a high performance level of multitasking performance and hard drive with plenty of storage. Ideal for home and small business.

I bought this to upgrade from an 8 yo Dell XP desktop. I made the leap past Windows7 straight to 10. I still like XP better because it didn't treat me like a child. XP made it easier to do whatever I wanted to. Win10 wants me to only use MS programs that are pre-installed (requiring purchase after the trial.) But it is faster, quieter and doesn't freeze up like my XP had started to do. Overall I am pleased with the performance and once I figured out how to make it do what I wanted it to do, it works well. Bottom line, Dell makes good hardware but MS is trying to be more like Apple and get you to use only its apps. Fortunately Win10 still lets you go outside the box to get and use other apps.

I bought this laptop because I needed a little more powerful machine for my everyday life. I do CRM development and administration and starting to branch off into my own consulting business by first helping non-profit organizations. I needed a laptop that would be trustworthy, light and protable. Thisdesktop is fast with 5th Gen i7 processor, great memory and hard drive space. I love the keyboard and the touch pad works great for me.

This PC was a great value. The i7 processor and 8 GB of memory packs plenty of punch for using multiple applications without slowing down. I was originally looking for a laptop to replace my 8 year old desktop, but the desktop was half the price as compared to a comparable Windows laptop with the features I wanted.

Comes with an i7 processor and 1tb hard drive. The keyboard and mouse are nothing special but get the job done. Built in wifi made it a snap to setup. Only drawback is the on board graphics card is underpar but an extra slot is available to upgrade and run any game out there. Great value for the $$

I purchased this on black Friday week at a good price. Well worth it. Doesn't have the expandability I'd like to have but for the price I'm okay with it. Come with 350 W power supply, if upgrading graphic card will more than likely have to upgrade power supply. Not a lot of room for a large graphic card. Basically any card over 9" is to large. I was able to install one at 9.2" but it is right on top of an sata input. Only has one PCI 3.0 slot and 2 slots for ram.

I needed a smaller PC and this Dell is perfect. Best Buy also matched the price on Amazon. Best Buy was also able to transfer all my files over to the new one. It is fast, has plenty of memory and hard drive space.

This is a excellent computer and was at a great price during Christmas time. I was looking for windows 10 to replace my outdated vista, so needless to say I am very happy with this purchase. The computer boots up really fast and blazes through all my games that I enjoy playing.

This great Dell Inspiron Desktop has Intel Core i7 - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive. I use this for my coding work and high end pc ends such as LOL and DOTA2.

The Dell Inspiron desktop with Intel i7,8gb memory is just awesome. We were in need of a new updated computer and weren't really looking. Then we went to just look at best buys and the manager said he had a great deal going on that another customer had told him about. Well we looked at it and went home and researched it further. It was a great deal and so many extras we didn't need but the price was so cheap. We went back and bought the dell within an hour. It goes beyond our expectations. Thank you Best buys.

I love the speed of the processor but the operating system still seems to have a few bugs in it. One thing I did not like is the difficulty I had removing Macafee Software from the system. After all is said and done I am still happy with the computer. P.S. Best Buy's price match is great. It went on sale 5 days after I bought it and they refunded the difference.

I bought this Dell PC on Black Friday for $499.99 and a Dell 24" monitor for an extra $99.99. I upgraded the RAM from 8GB to 16GB. I use the PC for email, surfing the net, and other low bandwidth stuff. It is much faster and more stable than my old Vista PC. Windows 10 was a little challenging to start using but I can use it OK now.

I purchased this Dell computer at the suggestion of my computer tech as my three year old HT desk top was failing. It arrived within a few days and was set up for me. It is very fast, quiet, and takes up little space. I have had many brands of computers, and this Dell is the best so far. Price was very competitive.

The Dell Inspiron is amazingly fast for surfing the web and word processing. All this time I thought it was my slow internet speed that was the bottleneck, but it was my old Lenovo that was part of the problem. With an i7 Intel processor and 8 gb of ram, which I upped to 12 gb, it really upped the response time when web surfing. No, this is not a gaming computer, and will play games adequately, but it's not designed for that. This is more of a high powered, work horse, for those with a home office who do a lot of research, spreadsheets, and word processing apps. It's the best computer I've owned to date.

This is a decent unit for the price range. I was able to get mine on an open box price and it has stood up well to my stress testing and everyday usage. It won't be my primary workhorse but it is good for the kids usage.
