The very first thing I noticed with this laptop after opening it is no barrel plug! It comes with a power adapter that powers through USB-C port. I used different USB-C cable and plug just to make sure it was not proprietary, and it worked! I am very happy with this.
The next thing I noticed is when you open the laptop, the screen hinge acts as a way to lift the bottom of the laptop off the table. There are vents on the bottom of the laptop. When it is lifted off the table, you create space for heat to exhaust from the laptop. I have only seen this design on more expensive gaming laptops so it is nice to see it on a non-gaming laptop.
This has a fingerprint scanner that supports Windows Hello. Logging onto the desktop has been fast. I wonder if it will start slowing down as I install more applications. It has a camera but it does not support Windows Hello.
Being it is a 2-in-1, there are different modes on this laptop. You can use it as an ordinary laptop. You can fold it in a way that it stands on its keyboard, it believe it is called tent mode because it shaped like a tent. You will need to use the touchscreen since the keyboard is facing the table. What I do not like about this mode is the screen wobbles as you are touching the screen. The other mode is folding it and using it like a tablet. To me, Windows OS is not that great of an operating system for tablet use unlike Android or iOS. It is usable. The laptop itself is responsive for basic use. One big issue I ran into is waking up the screen when it goes dark. You cannot just touch the screen like I do with my mobile phone or tablets. You need to flip it over and use the fingerprint scanner. I have not found any other way to wake it up.
For me, the laptop itself is good when using it in laptop mode for basic tasks like word processing, consuming media, and browsing the internet. If you want a 2-in-1, I would look at Microsoft’s offerings.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 marks a step up from past consumer-grade chips: it brings a strong balance of power and efficiency, making it well suited for modern multitasking, productivity workloads, creative workloads and even light-to-moderate gaming. In everyday use — running heavy office applications, large spreadsheets or significant browser workloads — the Ultra 7 delivers smooth, responsive performance. Its high core/thread counts and improved architecture noticeably accelerate tasks like video encoding, data crunching, or creative software rendering, outpacing many of the older mainstream chips. The result: a laptop that rarely feels sluggish even under load, and comfortably handles demanding workloads without overwhelming power consumption.
When paired with capable GPUs, as with the Inspiron 16 Plus model, the system becomes an attractive option not only for content creators — video editors, graphic designers — but also for developers, data analysts, or anyone doing CPU-heavy workloads as part of their everyday computing. The Ultra 7’s strengths in multi-core performance shine in compile times, rendering jobs, and similarly parallel workloads.
That said, the Ultra 7 isn’t a “top-end gaming powerhouse” on its own. As with many CPUs of its class, raw gaming performance may lag slightly behind the highest-end chips — especially when graphics-heavy games are involved, or when pushing high frame rates. If your primary goal is cutting-edge gaming or professional 3D rendering, a higher-tier CPU or specialized hardware might be worth considering.
In summary: the Intel Core Ultra 7 delivers an excellent real-world balance of performance, responsiveness, and efficiency. For professionals, creatives, or power users wanting a laptop that can handle serious workloads — but still remain versatile enough for everyday tasks — it’s a very compelling choice.

This Dell 2-in-1 is everything I needed and more. The Intel Core Ultra 7 runs fast and smooth, multitasking is effortless with 16GB RAM, and the 1TB SSD offers tons of storage. The touchscreen is bright and responsive, and I love the flexibility of switching between laptop and tablet mode. Ice color looks sleek and modern. A fantastic all-around device for work and creativity!

I upgraded my previous laptop to this Dell Plus 2-in-1 Intel Core Ultra 7 and I love it. I went with the 16" screen and I really enjoy the larger size. It makes working remotely easier because I have more screen space. I love the size of the touch pad. The battery love is wonderful and I love the USBC charger. Overall, I'm very pleased with this laptop.

The Dell computer is very efficiently designed with comfortable keyboard and clear screen. It is also lightweight and easy to transport. The computer easily opens up with a very good processing speed. The graphics are very sharp and clear. The keyboard includes a number keypad that is functional for number input. Overall the Dell computer is a great buy and strongly recommended.

Dell makes fine laptops. The "newer" slim design & battery life are good upgrades. Did have to go external for DVD's,and a dongle for more USB connections. Window's wants to take over everything. Nice to be able to go back for Geek Squad sessions on the annual plan.

I really love this laptop. I am getting a bit older and the larger screen is perfect for my old eyes. This laptop is also very FAST! I am an IT professional and have owned many laptops over the years and this is my favorite. The 2 in 1 capability is also a big plus. I highly recommend this device!

Absolutely love this computer! The display is great, it has a number pad with the keyboard which is very convenient, love that it can turn into a tablet, and it stands easily! Only down side is that it is a kind of heavy. My mom liked mine so much that she got one as well. Can’t go wrong with this one.

I had an old laptop, so I was surprised to get a touch screen along with a mouse with this computer. It is much lighter and faster than my old computer. This was definitely a step up!

This has been one of best laptops I have owned. I usually buy HP but this blows HP away. Fast and easy to use. Love the fact I can use it as a tablet. Great computer!

Purchased this as a new personal laptop (first new computer purchase in over 10 years). Got this on sale and from the design, speed and price, this laptop is excellent and does not disappoint. Highly recommend!!!

If you like to play game, this is the best laptop. I love it. Strong and smooth. Battery is always the thing to concern, but this is last very long. Should have it.

Very easy to maneuver all around, set up, ease of use daily. Not too thin but not that heavy either. Screen size just right. Love the color. Very pleased with purchase.

Love love love the laptop. When looking for a laptop I wanted to make sure it had a full keyboard, backlit keyboard and touch screen. It's beautiful and the 2 in 1 is an excellent addition. My only complaint is how heavy it is. I got this for school and carrying it around will be a pain. I also can not easily find a case for it since it does flip around. The battery last decent too.

So far it is a good Laptop. I am not thrilled with the graphics which I should have checked out before I bought it. However, everything else, the speed, memory and so forth is great.

So far so good. Amazing graphics. Display is crip. Can navigate very quickly and handle multiple tasks as once with ease. Love the backlit keyboard and the # pad. Touchscreen and 2 in 1 feature is fantastic!
