Needed to replace a "dead" home desktop, so this works out well. Because it's refurbished, the hard drive is a bit loud.

Honestly, I did have some reservations about this pc, but after I got it up and running which was extremely easy I have to say this is exactly what I needed. Plenty of speed for my graphics prograery ms, Photoshop, Lightroom and Corel Draw. Very happy with purchase

I was looking for a decent desktop to put in my library to provide some periodic gaming for my nephew and ran across this refurbished Dell. All in all, I am very pleased with the value. Windows 10 Pro, 8GB RAM, 1TB hard drive, all in a tower-esque configuration (it's a 2-bay tower with plenty of room and full height PCI slots) so I can install a better GPU.
Couple things. To install an up-to-date GPU, you will need to upgrade the power supply. The power supply I got didn't have an indication of the wattage (or it is covered up with a sticker) but it is a generic, crappy one, and is the bare minimum for the configuration of the computer, no extra connectors. GPUs these days need their own power from the power supply, so plan on updating the power supply too if you are going that route.
When I first unpacked the computer and turned it on, I kept getting a windows error during the bootup and it cycled itself 5-6 times rebooting, telling me there's an error, rebooting, etc. Finally it gave me an option to stop the loop and either try again or reinstall windows. I chose to reinstall windows, and after a 3 hour install, it finally booted up okay, no issues since.
The video outputs it comes with are DVI and VGA, so no HDMI which is the standard these days... I understand it is an older computer, but just making an observation. I have a DVI->HDMI converter, but the drawback to that solution is no sound is transmitted through the HDMI cable. To get the full capability of HDMI, I will need to install a dedicated GPU (and a new PSU).
All in all a solid buy. I already had a GPU to improve the gaming, and I happen to have a PSU to beef up the power, so I'm not having to invest a ton to get this up and running to a gaming machine level. Those components can run you an additional $100-200 each, so as long as you temper your expectations and know what you are getting, I am confident you'll be happy with this purchase.
Recommended.

It is a great product as i use it for launchpad and VERY light gaming. I am going to get a GPU and put it in this computer so i can do some heavier games. It is snappy and quick in browsers and i watched a couple youtube videos and experienced absolutely no buffering. The reason i rated this 4 stars is because it does no come with wifi or bluetooth but i fixed that by picking up a wireless adapter. Overall GREAT computer

I purchased this computer after lots of research of computers that had similar features. This computer gave me all of the memory space I need and other features at an AMAZINGLY low price. It arrived extremely early (within 3 days) and was so easy to assemble. It is super fast and powerful. So glad I made the purchase.
