This laptop is extremely well built. I have no doubts that it will last throughout my college career. The chassis is extremely stiff and there is no flimsiness or rattles. I sometimes wish that it had an optical drive, but it is a fair sacrifice in order to make the laptop as thin as it is. The 4K screen is amazing, with great color and viewing angle. The ultra thin bezel is very nice looking and helps achieve the very sleek and refined feel that Dell has achieved here. Hardware wise this is a mid-range machine, so it will handle occasional gaming, but likely would not satisfy a heavy gamer. Other tasks everyday tasks are handled smoothly and quickly. Only downside is the battery life—I typically only get 5 to 6 hours through light use and with the screen brightness at around 25%. I still would recommend this over a Mac-book Pro any day.

Love this laptop! Was looking for a step down from a desk top model, but not as small as a tablet, so this 15 inch is perfect. Loaded with features, easy to set up and to navigate! Highly recommend!

Purchased for a variety of different tasks and so far has exceeded expectations in all areas.

It is touch screen and I have oily fingers so I must wash the screen a lot.
