The Dell XPS 8900 is well designed and easy to set up. When using Adobe Lightroom its speed in downloading RAW photos is very rapid. Windows 10 is problematic when it comes to Contacts or People. I ended up re-entering several hundred contacts into Win 10 People.

This computer has been a great buy for my dad. He is not very tech savvy but has worked this machine very easily. He loves his new toy and I love that he is happy. Plus I don't get called to help him with it very often. I would highly recommend this computer to anyone.

Very easy to set up. Great looks and very fast and powerful.

I am not very computer literate. Because of this, I depend on the techs in the Best Buy Store. They and the Geek squad have never stirred me wrong. My compute was old and slow. When I described the situation, the sales tech guided me to this computer. I am extremely pleased with the purchase and have gained all the speed I had hoped for.

Nice speed, plenty of RAM, and with 1TB, plenty of storage.

Had to upgrade as my previous computer was to slow to effectively post process my photos. The programs are notoriously slow. Even with this computer the programs are slow, but much quicker. Not being an experienced windows 10 user, I have more concerns and issues with the operating system. Again the issues are mine and not the computers.

Easy set up, runs the way I like it! Quick and easy

This has double the RAM of my previous pc and with the i7 chip, this is a beast. The OS is actually improved to the point that this is an absolute pleasure to work with and I won't need an upgrade for a long time. The price was fantastic!

Not getting 5 stars because I have gotten some serious error messages that I believe will result in a bad hard drive, that I will have to deal with soon. But, otherwise, I like how the system works, updates, speed, etc.

This computer has been great for me as I now work from home. The only complaint I have is to take the screen out of sleep mode and log back in, I can only move the mouse and/or press a button on the keyboard. If I click the mouse, it stops working and I have to unplug and re-plug the mouse into the back of the tower for it to work again.

The computer itself is everything I was hoping for. Perfect for my home needs, therefore the 5 star rating. Still getting used to Windows 10. Not my most liked OS. Do not care for the proprietary functions of Microsoft Edge for one. It's a "me" thing. I'll get used to it, I'm sure.

computer works as advertised. fast and user friendly

Although this computer is fast and has incredible speed it was missing many of the things I've come to expect from Dell Computers over the years. Here's what was missing: 1.) No printed owner's manual for troubleshooting and installation. Although you can go on-line and download these articles how would you get to them if the computer stopped working and couldn't access the Internet. 2.) There were zero backup disks and no partitioned portion of the hard drive that contains the startup drivers. I still don't know what to do with a catastrophic shutdown. Without either of these 2 mentioned things how would I return my new computer to the original factory specifications. 3.) I installed a secondary hard drive which immediately became a RADD (I think that's what's called) drive. I think this is supposed to be a backup plan, but with no instructions I really have no exact idea what it's for or how to use it in an emergency. Because of these things I can only give this computer 3 or 4 stars. If it shuts down due to a glitch it'll probably drop to 1 or 2 stars because I don't know how to bring it back- and I'm computer savvy! Good luck- me!

Fired up my new Dell XPS with the Core i7 and EVERYTHING ran so fast. All ports on front side makes connections easy. Love the speed of going from app to app. I LOVE IT!
