    My old Dell ordinally ran with Windows Vista. I upgraded to Windows 7. So, it was time for a new one. This one has everything the average user would need. I added office 360 to it. Now I'm set. This Dell XPS is fast and quiet. I don't game. But I purchased a gaming computer because I had heard they are built with better hardware.

    Swapped out an XPS8700 for this rig and so far so good. I didn't think that it would be that much faster than the XPS8700 but its noticeable with startup and fast backups to external driver with the 10GBs USB ports. Overall a fan, but one thing I found was the speed of the built-in WiFi adapter. It's ac but seemed slow. I had a PCI WiFi ac card and put that in and now internet speeds are a lot faster. Could be my location with connecting to my 5GHz WiFi band but.. So just stating what I've found there.

    So far I love this computer!! It's so much faster than my other one I had. There's so much on it that I haven't been able to look or do everything yet. Would definitely recommend this one though.
