The entire machine is made out of plastic and cheaply made. It didn’t last a year for us, unfortunately. If you do decide to buy it, get the extended warranty.

Nice size doesn't take up too much space. Warms up quick and is easy to use. One annoying CON would be that the little holes in the bottom of the portafilter (that thing you put the coffee into) clog easily if you don't clean and maintain it after every single use. Has continued to work for over a year - so far so good! Many of my more expensive appliances have quit at right about 13 months - which seems to be the case more and more these days :(

Unit can be pretty loud, but don’t have any other espresso machine to compare it to. It also rattles. The machine does not automatically stop after brewing a shot, you have to determine when you have made an appropriate shot and manually turn the machine off. The steamer takes longer than I would have expected to steam and froth milk. But again makes a pretty good latte for the price.
