Pros: Quieter brewing that other coffee makers we have owed. Lets you know when you need to clean with vinegar and water. Compact and coffee pot secures in place. Easy to fill and see water levels. Great coffee. Cons: Cannot turn off beeper when coffee is done and every 15 minutes. Water condensation drips down the back when you open the lid.

Love all the bells and whistles included in this cost effective coffee maker. Easy to use and has a timer so I don't have to make my coffee in the morning. So nice to wake up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee without having to do anything. Would definitely recommend this item to others.

So far no problems with the coffee pot. It brews fast and the coffee is big and I'm a huge coffee snob! Over all a great choice for a coffee pot!

Great buy for the money. Cannot complain about a thing. Spent hours checking reviews in order to decide on which brand and this one won for its design, height for under counter, great contemporary but not too too futuristic looks, the aroma button, a choice of how many cups, the size of pot, appliance durability (according to others). Order ours in December. We have been very pleased with the DeLonghi.

This is a great coffeemaker with tremendous features for multiple types of brewing. What's great about this device is it allows you to brew your type of coffee a couple of ways - regular and stronger if preferred. What's not so great is when you raise the lid to add water, the water remaining on the lid from a previous brewing leaks unto the counter.

I was debating whether it was worth stepping up to some of the $100+ dollar coffee makers, but am glad I didn't. Was considering Bunn, Cuisine Art and others. I really wanted an American made product, but there are none. Not even Bunn is American made anymore! This coffee maker has been excellent so far. It has been two months now and no problems. The only thing I think I would ask Delonghi to change is that the lid is a little flimsy. I feel like I need to be gentle with it when opening, but for all I know it could be really durable. Really I am nitpicking, as that is such a non-issue. Probably any other coffee maker under $100 dollars is also going to have something flimsy about it too. Oh, and the aroma feature is more or less just a gimmick. Overall recommendation is to buy this product. It is excellent and a major improvement over our failed Mr. Coffee which was about the same price.
