    When we decided to go with an espresso machine, we initially chose De’ Longhi. 1st we purchased Combination Espresso/Coffee and it was ok, the frothing wand was not that great. So we returned it and exchanged for the De’ Longhi Specialista. After many attempts, again the frothing wand just doesnt seem to put out that great of pressure and the milk just would not froth. Milk was nice and fresh. In the end we exchanged for a Breville Touch Barista. What a noticeable difference! I can tell you after trying both brands, it is safe to say i will never buy another De’ Longhi. Great starter machine but once we changed brands, we instantly could taste a difference, and see a difference. Frother was much better.

    Only okay, Grinder is trash, short life span.

    Lasted 3 years, regularly cleaned it, only used the De'Longhi descale solution, even used De'Longhi water filters. Used non-oily beans, would only make decent espresso if I had the grind setting all the way to 1 with the dial in the 1-2 o'clock position. Anything less higher than 1 grind setting the pressure wouldn't build and water would just run through. After the latest descaling, now there is a buzz and high squeal noise coming out of the machine and will no longer get up to 1/8 of the way for pressure.

    This one I will be returning soon because it doesn’t have much options like double shot coffee or espresso function. I do not recommend this item to buy paying $899 + tax. This product is worth to pay $299 but nothing more

    Great coffee machine, but the grinder stopped working not even 2 months of purchase. Disappointed will be returning.

    Returned. Steamwand was very weak. Shots pulled really well but the steamwand would not froth or warm.
