This is a very nice piece of equipment. The jury's out on HEOS but as a wired set up it is a great performer. If HEOS supports a 5.1 or 7.1 set up then I just couldn't make that work. So I went wired and it works great. It takes a while to wade through the manual (all 288 pages of it!) as well as all of the functionality available through the remote (and a lot of that could just be me) but it's worth it. Great sound and there's a broad range associated with the adjustable parameters. I'm still finding new things. If you look at the back of the different brands of AVR's available through Best Buy it appears that there's just one factory that is making all these. Regardless, they did a great job with this one!

The associate helped us find the best solution. We paired it with Sonos and Samsaung QLED tv. We also paired it with Amazon Echo and it works very well. It's nice to have Alexa handle the heavy lifting.

Have always wanted a home theater system and am amazed at the difference it makes in watching movies and listening to music. I have no desire to go to the movies as my new system is my new movie theater!!

easy setup, had 1 issue with wireless network connection but resolved easily by a quick power cycle. great sound quality. make sure you have at least 7 speakers if you want to do dolby atmos
