This is a good receiver for the money. It has more than enough power for entry level home theater and more options than most would use. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a price effective option for a receiver.

This receiver is awesome! The second zone is cool to have. Only downside is the wifi is a little bit clunky. I constantly have to reset it. Otherwise, it's an awesome receiver!

Great Amolifier, does great job in calibration, the only issue I have is volume needs to be way up for best sound quality.....called Denon support and they say that how these receivers are made. Technology wise this reviewer has a lot to offer for the price point.

Great receiver with all the right features and technical values. I would have given it a 5 if the Audyssey could be modified with the manual EQ to compensate for errors in the mic sensitivity. Also the volume could have a higher ceiling. A fine product and expected to be a reliable product

I researched receivers quite extensively before making my purchase. I am not an audiophile by any means, but still wanted a receiver with some growing room (4K, 3D, etc.) The setup was extremely easy. I used the included microphone to tune the room. The included remote is very easy to use. The airplay function works seamlessly with any Apple product. The Denon app is pretty useless. the only added function is the ability to turn on the unit with your phone...

Bought a new tv and updated my home theater. I had an older Denon, so I was already a fan. Got the avr1200 as an open box special. Love it. Works well with the Samsung SUHD. Would recommend this unit....

I did some research on similar models and after seeing and hearing the Denon, I purchased it. I really liked the ease of setup included with the menus in the unit. This was a replacement to an older Marantz whose surround sound had failed.

My onkyo stopped working right after the manufacturing warranty expired. When I saw this receiver and read the reviews, my decision was easy.

I bought a new home theater package and this was the best deal for the price. It does everything you need it to do and more without all the extra features that you rarely use.

The Denon - AVR-X1200W has a good number of hdmi pass thru ports. I like that the signal is passed thru when the receiver is off so that you can use just the TV at night. The hardware and sound are great when paired with good speakers. The iOS app works pretty good. The remote that comes with it is decent. The on screen menu system seems dated but it works. It definitely isn't as clean of an interface as some systems. Overall I have been very happy with the ease of setup and the sound quality.

Had a avr 1907 before and need ed to upgrade for 4k and 3d passthrough plus the new dolby formats. It dies these great but it does not drive my surround sound (definitive Mythos series)the same as my old system.

Knowing my limitations, I had the Geek Squad set up the whole system and they did a fabulous job. The surround sound really makes movies realistic and authentic.

Connection is simple with the auto setup . Sound quality is great.
