I had the avrx-2600h installed at my house 10/19/20. I love all the different surround capabilities, especially for the music as well as the sports and movies. I love the rock arena surround sound with the music. when listening to live music, it sounds like your right at the stadium. I would recommend this unit to anyone, be it for sports, movies or music. I have Martin Logan Motion 201GB tower speakers, Motion 301GB center speaker, Motion 151GB bookshelf speakers, 1 pair of the Motion AFX Dolby Atmos Speakers, and the Dynamo 600X. subwoofer. The sales person Abdul at your Springfield, VA location was outstanding. He was very patient with me, and also very knowledgeable with everything. I worked with him for over a month with this purchase, and learned a lot from him. I appreciated his service.

Great receiver crap software update; bricked

Works great; the sound is wonderful and setting up the room for sound was easy and worked quite well. Why two stars? Because a software update has bricked it and made it entirely worthless. If you get a new receiver that has automatic updates I highly recommend not allowing it to connect to the internet and turn off any auto-update functionality.
