Excellent AV receiver. This receiver made my surround sound speakers come alive compared to my old receiver. Set up was a breeze! Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support! Only problem I had so far is with the Audyssey room calibration. It did something funky with my subwoofers, but turning it off brought them back to life.

Great high quality receiver! Only issue is the first one just randomly wouldnt cut on one day so contacted denon and they had me take it to get repaired for free under factory warranty. Almost a year later and still good so far. Very user friendly and love all the settings you can utilize.

This is the upgraded version of the receiver I bought the year before (AVR-X2500H). Super simple set up. Loved using the included "mic" to set up the speakers. Sound and video are just perfect. I skipped on the 2700H because I'm not ready to upgrade all of my components again to 8K.

I recently replaced my old Denon AVR 3805 which still had excellent sound quality but when I helped a neighbor set up a rather cheapie home theater unit, I noticed that, despite a rather poor sound quality, it had much better decoding than mine so I bought a Denon X2600H. Like all better AVRs, there is a bit of a learning curve in the set up. I was a bit concerned at first because it seemed seriously under-powered compared to my old Denon but there are a number of different level controls in the set up menus which corrected the problem (seems like a bit of a design flaw to me but it's easy to correct in the various menus). When I bought it, I thought the height speakers were more of a gimmick than anything else but I was wrong - the height speakers add a whole new immersive dimension to the sound. It is a great AVR for small to medium sized rooms but I'd go a step up if it's being used in a very large room. Anyway, it's a great AVR with awesome sound. I'm pleased with the purchase.

Bought this to update my home theater system. I am very impressed with how easy the setup was for my speaker placement. I like that it has an HDMI in front with a total of 8 HDMI inputs. The sound it puts out is by far more than I expected. I will buy Denon for now on.

I am not an audiophile but I like good sound and capability to easy switch my components. After review and talking with the staff at Best Buy I decided on the Denon. If you want something that will do the job, give you great quality and performance or ease of use, this has so far fit the bill.

Denon is a high quality receiver. Easy to set up. Got an excellent sale price on this item. Added the Denon app to my phone, I can turn on the receiver, change stations, and even listen to music on my patio. I can also tell Alexa to turn on my receiver.

My last TV starts acting up and it is time for an upgrade. Last TV was connected to a Denon AVR-1712, which did an excellent job over the years. Moving to the 4K world, I need to replace the sound receiver. Due to my good experience with Denon, I opted to stay with Denon and bought the Denon AVR-X2600H. After a quick setup and calibrating the speakers setup with the Audyssey on the Denon, the TV and music, sounds very good. I am still playing with all the options (for example, the internet radio) on this box but I have a feeling I will not be disappointed. This AVR-X2600H definitely impressed me, and I do recommends this AVR to anyone looking for a well tuned sound.

This receiver replaced a Pioneer that lasted 2 years before going out. I can’t believe how much more rich and full my music sounds now. Just a great and easy to use product. You really can’t go wrong with Denon!

While this was a little more not he expensive side, this powers my home theater wonderfully. I don't use most of the options it has, but with a 7.2 system, it powers it well.

We had purchased a Denon system back in '12 when Ultimate Electronics went through its close-out period. Unfortunately, the receiver died on us last fall and I never got around to replacing it until BBuy had its sale.
I had totally forgotten the experience of the surround sound when watching movies. My teenage kids are coming back downstairs again and we're binging Star Wars and Harry Potter from the younger years. The sound FX are incredible!
Thank you Jimmy, Shawn and Justin!

There were some negative reviews on this receiver, however my experience has been good. Replaced a 10 year old pioneer receiver and this handles our 4k audio needs on cable to xbox. We have everything run to this unit then to the tv and picture and sound quality are on par when paired with our polk audio speakers and 4k tv. Setup can be intimidating and time consuming but worth the time to get it right.

The sound is incredible. Was easy to set up. I'm slightly disappointed that I can't hook up my cassette tape deck and VHS. I'm still old school and have lots of audio and media that I would love to watch, listen to.

We were happy with our 10 year old Denon until it succumbed to a few power surges.
This model sounds at least 10 times better and still the same basic setup. The sound balancing microphone was a great help to set the speaker positions.
Haven't used the wifi portion yet.
So far, the only downside is the mute feature. It does not fully mute but it suffices and actually allows others to listen while someone is on the phone. Well, unless they are loud like me.
