I had a Bose speaker system that I gave to my nieces. I bought the Denon HEOS1 for a fraction of the price. It sounds great and I can get more volume out of it if I need to.

I use this on my outdoor cover deck. I have it on a speaker mount. It does sound good. Good mid. Poor highs and lows. However, that would be expected based on the size of the unit. It is fairly easy to link up. Takes a handful of times to get used to the process to get it going.

The sound is very strong and loud for it to come out of one speaker. Syncs great with the rest of the HEOS system that I have in the house. Recommended buy!

We bought the small Heos speaker as a complement to our Heos sound bar and put it upstairs. When we're upstairs it's like perfect stereo with the sound bar on, too. A great addition.

Good small speaker for stand alone or a stereo pair. For the price you can't beat it very similar to the Sonos but the app is a little tricky. But once you figure out the app they say gold especially when they're hooked up in stereo with 2 speakers

Was looking for a nice set of computer speakers for our off-to-college son when I saw the first gen Heos 1 on a half price close out at our local BB store. The sound was way better than the $99 Bose option, and I also am not a fan of the DSP that Bose adds to make their computer speakers sound more "spacious". Anyhow, my son has selected these on wifi as a left-and-right setup -- so good for running a music app like Rhapsody or whatever is on his phone. These also have a headphone input to run music out of another source -- thus the laptop for listening to online lectures or YouTube or Netflix. At half off this close out was a steal, and he will later be able to use them in his first apartment, etc. Love the Heos over Sonos. Have a Heos 5 for sound and size, and would buy a Heos 7 over a B&W Zeppelin (tho I am a big Bowers fan and have them in 5.1 of my 7.1 system

This is a very good speaker and comparable to Sonos. You will be happy with either. It is very easy to set up and sounds great. The app lets you switch in seconds to all of your favorite internet channels.

This item as well as the HEOS line are great! They are easy to set up and the sound is beautiful! I would highly recommend to anyone.

Awesome sound for the size. I do enjoy the Bluetooth feature. Also there is a battery pack available as an attachment for on the go!!

Using these Denon Heos speakers was much better than running wires throughout the house (like I did in my last home). Also, I can rearrange the music to suit the occasion, including putting some outside or in the Barn 150 feet away!

I really liked the sound from the speaker but the problem I had is that it dropped wifi connection too often.

Added the Heos 1 to my existing Heos 5 and Heos Soundbar and now have music playing anywhere I go. Guest love it!

Great way to get streaming music system for house..

Needed it for tailgate.. Battery dead so I returned this as well.
