I use this in conjunction with Paradigm Monitor speakers and a Paradigm 12" Powered Subwoofer as part of a multi-room wireless music system. The great thing about the HEOS Amp is that it will accept non-network digital input, which isn't true of *any* of the SONOS products as of this writing. The living room TV is connected to the the Amp via TOSLINK, and I've added a Bluetooth 4.0 LE USB dongle. Note that most USB Bluetooth adapters will work -- not just the one sold by Denon! I was actually told this by Denon support before my purchase, so I just bought one online for $12. It works perfectly. We also have a HEOS 5 and two HEOS 3s in other rooms. I'm considering adding another HEOS Amp connected to an old Apple TV (again using TOUSLING) and my other pair of Monitors to get Airplay functionality. Previously, the Paradigm Monitors were connected to an ACURUS 125x5 amp -- in my particular room, the sound quality is very comparable.

Nice, small, good looking amp that offers adequate power for most systems. Great for those who want wireless and don't want to take up a lot of space with oversized electronics.

I have prewired speakers through out my house and I have enjoyed listening to CD's, radio, etc., but to being able to stream Pandora, SiriusXM or use my I tunes catalog and listen to and change what I am listening to from my IPhone is great. So far, I have one drawback and it is having trouble to stream to Pandora or Sirius. It doesn't last long and it could be a wireless internet problem and not a HEOS problem.

I love my Heos system. I can easily integrate my legacy speakers and create an amazing networked audio system. My family and I can't say enough about this system

This is a great streaming device. I like the inputs/outputs the device has. The app works great and easy to use. Integrates very well with the rest of my equipment in my house.

The product worked great for my application and very easy to setup. The app is very easy to use and you can do a lot with this system if you have multiple setup throughout the house.

I am giving this item 4 stars because the app could be a pain once in a while. The sound and connections are awesome.

It works well. Does what Sonos can do so far. I like: The power, I have it pushing 685s The sound quality is very clear Ease of use The ability to plug your TV optical out into this device (perfect for my Master bedroom setup) I wish Denon would add: The "Loudness" in the EQ settings, that worked great on the Sonos. bug fixes to the Spotify connect feature. Works great but some specific screens kick you out of playback. But updates to come (I hope)

Denon / Marantz have always been top notch and produced high quality products. With their HEOS range it seems as if their HW development group did their homework but someone totally underestimated the SW portion and it was released at least 6-12 months too soon... The flaws with the SW is really, really annoying, to the point where I wouldn't have bought it had I known about them... They published a press release in January of 2015 and 7 months later there's still no support for Google Music / Streams, iHeart Radio cuts out every 3-4 minutes and is so compressed the audio quality is horrible (no problems at all with native app, only through Heos). I have the HEOS Amp and a HEOS 7 and I'll most likely pick up another HEOS Amp fairly soon - why - if the SW is horrible !? Because the HW is awesome and SW can always be fixed and they're working on it....

Purchased the HEOS AMP from Best Buy to integrate with my Honeywell Tuxedo home automation system, Mac Mini iTunes media server (w/ FireStream), Amazon Music, and my iOS devices. Works great, and simultaneously with all devices. Very easy to set up. Great sound.
