After weeks of reading reviews and trying to determine which Stereo Receiver I needed, I landed on this DENON. Believe me, it works perfect and I haven't had any issues with anything. It was easy to set up on the WiFi network and right away I plugged in all my speakers and TV/Xbox/Cable/Blu-Ray. Immediately I wanted to hear how my speakers sound with my new receiver, so I went to my Ipad and played my Spotify Connect through the Media Player app. WORKS PERFECTLY! I then downloaded the smartphone app for my iphone and ipad. This makes it even more convenient to change settings, volume, and to select which input I want to play. I have outdoor speakers so when I'm outside, I don't need to bring the remote, I just use my phone to adjust everything! I absolutely love this receiver and am very glad I purchased it! DENON makes quality products!

This is a great sounding receiver. We bought a lower priced Denon, and decided to try this one instead, and we are glad we did. The sound is much much better. The bluetooth option is also great. We listen to a lot of music, and it is very handy to be able to stream music through the receiver without having to go and physically turn it on. The smart phone app is also useful. Very easy to hookup and use.

Bought this to update my 8 year old Yamaha, which could not longer switch between 1080 and 720 without turning it off. Very pleased. Set up was easy and the sound is great. Really liked the fact that they included labels to attach to all the cables so you know what is going where. Watching a blue-ray movie is quite spectacular. Only thing I miss are all the sound fields that come with Yamaha.

Intuitive and easy to use and setup paired well with my other media devices. Sound is great would be better if I had better speakers I am sure. Upscaling feature works well and I get really good picture with non hd cable running in. Great bang for your buck for a low to mid level receiver. I would tell anyone to get this if in the market for a receiver.

I paired it with B&W speakers. I use it to listen to classical musics and it performs really well. It can also be connected to any phone or computer with bluetooth, very convenient. Works with Spotify which is awesome! all you do is download the denon app on your phone.

I had many choices at the Magnolia Center from which to choose. I thought this receiver sounded great and it fit my price range. I am completely satisfied with the sound, connections, and ease of use. If you want Dolby Atmos you will need to go with the AVR-X2200W.

Easy to set up and great sound. I couldn't pass up the warranty. 5 years. My last receiver was a pioneer elite. It gave up on me on the 3 year of owning it and only had a two year warranty. I'm pleased with this set up.

This is the second receiver I've ever had and wow what a difference! First, the integration of HDMI 3D/4K pass-through should be standard! I was using a HDMI switching device because my Samsung only had 2 HDMI inputs. On top of the whopping SIX HDMI inputs, the receiver also features Bluetooth and network streaming capabilities. The Internet radio is a nice and unexpected treat as well. All in all I'm blown away by the receiver and it's stellar performance!

Sometimes the Bluetooth connection does not work and I have to unplug the receiver in order for it to work, no iheart radio as well. Sometimes the picture for the cable box or bluray player doesn't show and I'll have to power on/off the receiver or TV for it to work. Sometimes there is a static sound when changing the channel with surround sound on which is not as bad as I describe, it's just something slight that I notice which is probably the sound level adjusting to the different channel volumes, but as of right now I don't know. The pass thru is only for one HDMI port that you assign not for all, so what ever is not assigned the receiver has to be on in order for it to be played on the TV. The receiver also has a delay for the most part but I can deal with it. But for the most part the receiver is good. In it's price range it had what I wanted, Bluetooth, WiFi, 7.2, decent wattage and mostly good reviews which made this a best buy for me.

This receiver provides great sound and it's loaded with features. Get it while the price is discounted. It's last years model but does a fine job. You won't be disappointed.

I purchased this same receiver for my living area and when I decided to put a system in my man cave this was the obvious choice. Easy to use, sound quality excellent

The system is powerful and has excellent features for the price. Set up was easy and firmware updates appear to come often - I have had 3 downloads in the past month.

XM Radio to all my speakers (inside & outside) is a plus too. The Denon App is greatness too. Controlling all speakers from phone is awesome!

This is my 2nd denon receiver and another great buy. No issues thus far. Easy to setup and fantastic quality overall. Loving it.

A lot of features for the money. Enough power to run a good home theater, and 4k.

I spent the time going through the Audessy setup with this and it was well worth it. My main watching is TV from my Tivo. The sound quality is excellent with good surround. The next source is listening to either a Fiio X3 or a Pono player. Both sound excellent through the Denon. A very worthwhile purchase.

Sound is good. Overall setup not as great. I bought it to run all components through to go to two TVs. Didn't realize that it only mirrored the image to the second TV with no sound. Also it suppose to pass through 4k content but at a 60hz refresh rate. My 3D player wouldn't play through the receiver since one of the Tvs is a 4k with a 240hz refresh rate. Had to split devices to go straight to TVs and just hook main TV to it through the optic cable. This allowed me to have more control over the sound and the 3D player worked. Didn't setup the way I thought it would.

Coming from Pioneer Elite this is a step up in every way shape and form. Easiest setup ever with the on screen display. Comes with a mic to setup all the volumes for each speakers based on automated audible feedback and tells you if the speakers are all phased correctly. Video and Audio quality is superb. Highly recommended!

After my old stereo died (H/K) I did quite a bit of research on a comparable replacement. I finally ended up with This Denon based on reviews. It blows my old H/K out of the water! Best buy price matched it to one of their online competitors, so I got a really good deal! Couldn't be happier with this stereo or best buy. Thanks

Both units work just as needed although the first is not made now. Take Energy Clasic 5.1 are the speakers used on both in different houses. Denon make a awesome unit and I've never had a issue. Fast hookup and setup. I'm sure more costly units and speaker would be better however this works for me.
