Its been so long since the last game (Desperados II) that this game feels like a completely new franchise. I hope this game gets the attention it deserves because it is developed masterfully. The gameplay is satisfying, mission design is outstanding and invites replayability, the narrative is surprisingly extraordinary, the music is of high production, features incredible voice acting, and the art design refined. Whereas, the only issue I had with the entire video game was the poorly optimized console port (button mapping, load times, and one hard crash which resulted in a corrupted save state). Score 4/5 - Satisfactory

Join John Cooper and his gang of desperadoes as they saddle up to make the wild west wild again. As you use your wits to control the abilities of five different characters, in this isometric RTS game. Plays very well on a game controller, since this is the first time I have played a Desperadoes game not on a computer. The quick save feature is fast and easy, and a must. I held out to get the collectors edition. I love the art book and sound track best. I have played all three games and yet to be disappointed. So, giddy up and hve a good time.
