I do not know anyone that doesn't like Gru and the Minions, even though they are quote, unquote "Bad Guys", they are very likeable and loveable and even though he adopts the girls at first for all the wrong reasons, Gru's heart is melted and everything works out for all of them!

This was a hilarious movie to watch with humor for both kids and adults. Introduces Gru and the Minions. Highly recommend. The only downside I would list is that I bought the DVD instead of bluray, so I would recommend the bluray version if you have the option.

My wife and I loved this movie, it's soooo cute!!! The CG is good, the plot is ok, the character design is great, and the voice acting is decent. In the end, the overall cuteness factor won over my wife and I and we now own Despicable Me 2 as well. The 1st movie is better of the 2, but both are highly adorable!!!

My son liked this movie and bought it as a gift so I could watch it on my 3D television. The movie itself is good with cuteness and laughs, but seeing it in 3D made it special. Some scenes with the minions basically popped out at you and could make you laugh even more.

I must admit, I didn't think about this movie at first, seeing the trailer with Gru and all, just another villain of sorts. But after sitting with the kids, this was really entertaining, all the characters are great, especially the Minions... and don't forget Dr. Nefario! The whole family loved it!

Despicable Me easily becomes one of the new 'classic' animated movies for children and adults alike. Gru is a wonderful character that many will be able to identify with as he sees how being a parent opens his heart and shifts his priorities The minions are just fun. Absolute fun.

Got this movie on a great deal in the Blue-ray/dvd/digital download included. I wasn't really interested in this movie when it first came out in theaters. But for the price I figured i would add it to my movie collection. I sat down with my neice and watched it, and i really enjoyed it!

My 5 yo grandson loves watching movies. I remembered enjoying this one myself a few years ago and, considering the animation and easy to follow storyline, thought it would be appropriate for him as well. He loves watching it - over and over. And watching it with him gives me a great chance to bond.

Love it. My daughter absolutely loves watching it over and over again. Its a great family movie. It shows how a man adopts 3 little girls which happen to be sisters and he ends up loving and protecting them as if they where his biological daughters. Must watch it.

The idea of kids cracking light into the hearts of evil guys has been used again and again in movies, plays, books.... but this is one of my favorite versions of that. It focusses more on the evil guy, so it's not all cutesey, but hooks you in for laughs and warmth.

Just added another great movie to my collection. However, if you are getting this movies because of the Digital Copy (Itunes) don't. For a weird reason, it wouldn't download the copy. I tried and tired to no avail. I even returned it for a new copy/code and I had the same issues.

Funny movie. I watched this movie the first time before my son was born. I picked it up when part two came out. My 2 year old just saw it and every time he sees the minions he is mesmerized. Every time he spots a minion in the store he points them out. LOOK LOOK, MIN MIN as he calls them.

I actually bought this out of order, buying MINIONS first and giving it to my kids... I can't wait to see what they think of this, the movie that started it all! It's Minions! It's Steve Carrel! It's Illumination Entertainment! What could be bad about it??

Nice steel that showcases the breakout character from the movie. This is one of my favorite animated flicks...ever. Superior to the sequels and will probably never be topped. Heard some studio is working on a rip-off called FLUNKIES. Just kidding.

Cute and surprisingly endearing, Gru and his gang of minions set out to out mastermind a newer, younger and more connected nemesis. Along the way Gru crosses the path of three orphans who put a crimp in his plans. Fun ensues along with some very funny one liners. Oh, and minions. Pappul.

My 4 year old loves this movie, although I think my wife and I love it more! It's great for the whole family and can be watched again and again. The digital copy makes the film easily accessible on our smart tv through VUDU which is a great feature.

What a cute movie. Great for kids and adults. I loved both Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2. Saw it in the movie with my niece who is 8 years old and she loved it. In between all the silly moments, the movie has a nice message about family and what's truly important in life.

Love this movie! So good! So fun! Lots of laughs! Great characters and storyline. You won't want to miss out on knowing Gru, his minions and his adopted orphans. At the end you're left hoping for a sequel and lucky us there is one. Great movie for every age.

Fantastic! The wife and I have watched it several times. Super funny. Im pretty sure a lot of the humor goes way over kids' heads. More geared towards adults, but without any kind of risqué or offensive humor (which I love!). Would recommend!!!

Although it is seen as a children's movie, there is enough adult level humor to not be boring. There is stuff going on all through the movie that keeps the viewer's attention, too. The animation is great, not overly cartoonish, with a lot of attention to details. Loved it!
