This collector's edition is really nice. It comes with the following: 1) A Solar Paneled USB charger. This can be used to charge any USB device, like a phone or a wearable. The casing is very sturdy being made out of metal (most likely aluminum). 2) An over-the-shoulder laptop bag. This bag is really nice. The flap is made out of leather and the inside is made out of a really tough and durable fabric of some kind. It has many different pockets to store different items and can very easily store a 15" laptop. The other nice thing about this bag is it discrete enough to use it out in the wild, like to the office or as a day-trip bag. 3) some plastic pieces that I'm not really sure what they go to. It looks like they are 'pieces' of an imaginary game that exists inside the game. I think these are probably the least desirable item in the whole package; kind of a waste. 4)a journal. It recounts how the former emperor got excommunicated from the cabal empire and who betrayed him. It also recounts how the red legion came to exist. It is actually quite fascinating. 5) game and dlc. - you are not here for the game review, you are here to see if the collector's edition is worth it.

My first run in with this beauty of a game experience was at my local Best Buy. I searched intently for those whose pre-orders may have expired and they left the fight to a more worthy Guardian. I succeeded in my hunt! As I completed the transaction, I appreciated the discount offered by my Best Buy Gamers Club membership. Now I can buy some Taco Bell too! You know, for the Destiny 2 codes. As I take the box to my car I realize it probably should be properly seated in my car. It's huge. I place it carefully in the passenger seat, belt around it. Now we are ready to head home. As I head home I gaze longingly at the white and blue box before me. Realizing the travels I had to get it. I start to unbox it... First, the white and blue sleeve. There.... the big box was there before me, glistening with a overlay of the destiny logo. I open it slowly... Light shines upon the Cabal-themed collectors box, the metal game case, and the Frontier Kit. The frontier kit looks like it is hiding something. I pull this first out of the box and remove the top. A large black component comes out. The first is the solar panels charger. A beautiful piece of technology that will surely guide me on my future travels. But.... this is awefully large for a charger... What if 02 and 03 are compartments? I mess around with it and shortly enough, a solar blanket and paracord appears. REJOICE! Now, I've got my basic survival gear. Let's get to the Cabal-themed box. It has schematics, postcards, and some pawns that are a dull-shiney gold. At first I thought they were chocolates. You'd be disappointed if you thought that. They are pretty though. Next, the game. I open the box and inspect the perfectly ciruclar disc, and some papers with codes on them. I should hide these so no enemies find them. I inspect the giant box these all came in. I know there is something else here... A pull tab is on the right side. "This must be to the next big thing" I said to myself with a slight excitement. I pull it slowly. There sat the Frontier bag... A functional, fashionable, high-quality bag. It is spacious. It can keep you organized. It can help you in the battle against the Red Legion, and hold your snacks. This... this was the benefit of this entire box, and it didn't disappoint. Oh, and the game is awesome too. Now go forth fellow Guardian. Join the battle against the Red Legion and Ghaul, and let us once again restore humanity!

The game is fun, but the items in the collectors edition are amazing. Nothing inside feels cheap. Items are packed in a fantastic box. I've gotten a lot of CE versions of games, and the Destiny 2 CE has to be the best one I've ever owned. Totally worth it.

I was impressed by the quality of the frontier bag. It also comes with a solar powered back-up power supply. I haven't tested how well it works yet. Great set for fans of the series

This is one of the coolest collectors editions ive purchased in some time now. The backpack is very high quality. Worth it on that aspect alone. Not to mention all of the other collectible goodies. Then theres the game. This is the game that Bungie intended. The game is amazing and a must own for any MMO, RPG, or shooter fans out there

All the bits and upgrades that come for the game itself are great. The in game weapon is a monster and the expansion pass guarantees major content releases for the next year. The additional messenger bag, art book, pawns, solar usb charger and solar blanket are a great way to delve into the game lore and also awesome to have in your own inventory in real world activities.

Destiny 2 took all that was wrong with Destiny 1 and fixed most of it. It is such a pleasure to play now. Better maps. Better waypoints. More public events, clans, its great. Looks fantastic, didn't lose anything from a gun-play standpoint from Destiny 1. Its a great game.

I'm very happy I purchased this collector's set. Not only am I having a blast with the game, but the lore items included are really great and the bag feels well-made and high quality. The solar powered charging kit could come in very handy if I lose power due to storms!

Not a huge fan of the first one at the beginning but as we all know, it got a lot better. Now this one corrects every mistake done by its predecessor and expands on it. Amazing game. Couldn't recommend it more.

So far I'm having a blast! The gunplay is as good as ever, the graphics are insane on my PS4 Pro, and the story is awesome! Totally worth it as a fan of the first one.

One year's worth of fun. Destiny move beautifully. D2 isn't as good as one so far but it's still fantastic. I don't know of any shooter for console that plays better.

Very nice set. The bag is very high quality, much better than expected. It is a pricey option for sure, which is the only drawback.

Game is amazing, Steelbook and extras may be a little over priced but worth it for the collector that I am.
