A Great Sci-Fi FPS MMO

Destiny 2 is a great game! Tons of fun, and plenty of game play time. After getting through the story the fun just begins. This 1st time on PC is very successful in my opinion. The multi-player aspects make joining your friends very easy (which is a pain point in some games). The worlds that you explore are beautiful! and as a complete package I am definitely glad I bought this one (and convinced a couple of friends to get it too).

Originally was going to purchase this game for console but decided to wait for PC version. Wasn't really happy on how long I had to wait for it to come out on PC, but I'm glad I waited. My custom PC is going to run better and faster than any console they can put out there and the graphics are huge in difference. Really enjoyed the first Destiny and this one does not disappoint.

Even though I played through the first + expansions on the PS4, there were too many pros in the PC column to make the switch. Looks incredible on the PC, 60 FPS and works through the Battle.net app.

So I didn’t play the first one, but I have played other bungee games. If you enjoyed halo you will enjoy the gameplay. Don’t purchase just for the story this games multiplayer is where it shines.

Destiny 2 has some amazing graphics and shooting mechanics. And the PC port is one of the best ports I've ever played. The main story is fun, if a bit nonsensical (especially if you haven't played the first game). It has a lot of flash, but after beating the main story, there isn't much else to do with a lot of substance. There are a number of missions such as Strikes, Nightfalls, and the Raid (which I haven't done), but the incentive to do these things isn't really there, outside of loot. I like Destiny, and it is a worthwhile buy, but it grew old faster than I thought it would. There just isn't enough enemy or quest variety to make it a truly great game.

Great Gun Play; Improving End Game Content

I've been wanting to try out Destiny since the original, but wasn't ready to commit to a console version. This PC version does not feel like a port like many other cross-platform games do. Gameplay is smooth and the graphics are much improved over console versions, especially if you have a machine capable of pushing 144fps.
End game comes quickly and provides dozens of hours of fun, but can get tiresome after a while when you begin to max out on gear. Bungie is remedying this situation through patches and DLC expansions, so we'll have to see if it increases the longevity of the game long-term.

Finally for PC

For PC finally and glad for it. For those that prefer their FPS on PC we finally get to play Destiny. The story for D2 at least feels more at the front and know what is going on. Once hit lvl 20 opens up new game play. Hope that Bungie this time brings out more end level content and on a faster release then first game.

Best PC port

It puts the console version to shame. The game is fantastically optimized, so you can run it even on a weak pc/laptop and still get around 30fps. A 1060 graphics card handles the game beautifully at 1080p on highest settings and still maintains around 80fps. Plus... It's Destiny, you know it's good.

I love the way D2 plays but it definitely just feels like an expansion for D1. We'll see what content drops in the coming updates and expansions.

Amazing game that runs super smooth and full of gorgeous visuals. It's a triumph how well it's optimized for the PC with unlimited frame rate.

Much more content than launch D1 overall. But end game and lack of things to do when you get there is reached very very quickly. D1 was a game you could put thousands of hours into grinding different things, D2 is much much more casual friendly. I think this is a positive for someone like myself with a little less time to devote to gaming now, but I understand the complaints of the D1 loyal players. Hopefully the live team will take over and make improvements over the year for those looking to re-create their D1 playtime.

The franchise continues. Smooth as silk graphics. Good move to integrate with Blizzard for me since I already play games on Battlenet. Yes, you need to be online to play this game. The single player and lore is but sides. Multiplayer is the entre so you need to be online anyway.

To be honest, I never played Destiny 1, so I had no basis to go off of with this game. I think overall I like the gameplay and the feeling of the general game. The guns feel good, every time I shoot a pistol or a rocket launcher. I feel like I am actually making some damage and they feel heavy or powerful. Playing the game feels great, of course coming from the same company and possibly people who worked on Halo. I guess the overall run and shot mechanic will feel good. The story is average; it's pretty good and intriguing. It doesn't feel too boring where I forget what I am doing; the characters are a mixture. Cayde being my favorite along with AI from Nessus. It's not a bad game, once again I never played Destiny 1, so I can't compare the two. Overall will recommend to first timers and would say if you're looking for a good feel shooter. This is the game. It's been such a long time since I felt a game that made shooting a gun feel this good. I play with the hand cannon or sidearm most of the time. And shooting it feels so good because of the sound effects and the damage. I fell in love with the shooting mechanic. Overall, good game, not the best but its a good no-brainer!

I have Destiny 2 on Xbox and i was debating whether or not i wanted to get it for PC as well. I found it on sale at Best Buy and pick it up to play with some of my friends. Absolutely amazing. PC looks so much better and feels like it runs smoother as well.

This is a seriously tight game. The graphics are top notch on PC. The gun play is tight and responsive. The main issue seems to be people go in expecting an eternal game where you can log in every day for years. This is not that game. You'll easily get 30 plus hours out of it before exhausting the content available at launch... then put it down and come back for the next DLC.

What a game, played D1 on XBox and with D@ going to PC I knew it was going to be great but WOW the game plays so well. They made a port not feel like a port. It is a wonderful gaming experience. Reviews are spot on for specs and GPUs.

Fun shooter. Runs well on PC and the shooting mechanics feel great with a mouse and keyboard. Decent amount of things to do once you reach max level, though there's some grinding involved. Glad Destiny finally made it to PC.

Widescreen monitor support and uncapped frame rates make this a worthy conversion from console to PC. The game looks great and shooters are often better with the precision of mouse/keyboard rather than controllers.

Destiny 2 isn’t better then it’s predecessor but I can tell you one thing, it’s definetly better on PC then console. If you have a monitor to take advantage of the uncapped refresh rates, you won’t be disappointed. Aiming is also better. Wish the game wasn’t so broken I would rate it higher but can’t knock the game play or graphics.
