IN MY OWN WORDS: I wasn't sure if this game was going to live up to the massive hype. Well I can tell you that it most definitely does! I sat on the fence to long that I missed out on the Ghost Edition, but I was still able to snag a Limited Edition. Which comes loaded with some decent goodies, a Steel-Book Case, "Arms and Armament" Field Guide, Postcards and Antique Star Chart. In game Digital Content gives you a Unique Ghost Casing, an Exclusive Player Emblem and Ship Variant. Plus you get the Destiny Expansion Pass. The story unfolds for you as well as your character simultaneously as you discover the mysterious of the darkness. Gorgeous graphics and stunning sound. Freedom of choice to play your way in huge open environments. Much more then just an FPS with it's RBG elements hugh customization Destiny is a real gem that will alway be fun to play again and again. Bungie also has the ability to continuously change aspects of the game ensuring the life of Destiny will indeed be a lengthy one. ABOUT MY RATING SYSTEM: My Rating System Is Based On A Scale Of ( 0 to 100 ) as explained below... The system is composed of ten separate categories that each can score zero to ten points. The total from these ten individual categories are then tallied up, providing the final score. "Zero being the absolute lowest possible score and one hundred being the ultimate highest score." I believe this system provides a truly fair and unbiased score by addressing all aspects of a game. I have been waiting for a game to finally bridge the gap between the MMO genre and the FPS genre since they announced huxley. Finally a game like that has come out and while it is fun, it does have too much of a grind at the end of the leveling when you have completed the story. as of right now there aren't enough ways to get better gear since all the loot is generated separately for each character. There is alot of playing strike missions with no pay out until finally a randomized engram drops that has one piece of loot better than you current set. Until they put better ways to upgrade your end game character and increase the activities you can do I can only give this game a 4 out of 5.

Positives : If you love Loot grinding this game is very addictive (especially after lvl 20). Great multiplayer. Gorgeous graphics. Tight controls. Negatives: Most of the back story is buried in cards that you have to go to the website or the companion app to see. The rest of the story is almost incomprehensible. Big technical made up words and phrases that have no weight because it's never explained outside of the lore that's not in the game (but instead on Bungie.net). Very disappointing for a Bungie game. Overall I think I can recommend this game, but think more Diablo/Borderlands and less Mass Effect/Halo.

As Bungie's first all-new title after moving on from Halo, this game has a lot to live up to. This game takes that smooth gunplay you already love and brings it into a large online world with lots to do: story focused co-op missions, large raids, public free roam, and competitive multiplayer. As you play, you upgrade your character with special powers and weapons/equipment which adds a nice RPG element. The only drawback is that you need friends to play. Without them, the world can feel empty due to the lack of voice communication. And some of the high-level missions don't have matchmaking at all; extreme teamwork and dedication are required to complete them. Bungie has said they are working on adding a lobby chat system, along with some other features the community is asking for. Overall, I have complete faith that this game will continue to improve and give me more than my money's worth. Its a blast to play and I can't wait to get home from work to play some more... Destiny Awaits!

I must say so far it's living up to all the hype it had before launch and it's $500 million price tag. I'm interested to see how they keep the hype up after the level cap. So far I'm not a fan of the raids since it's impossible for me to play them without any matchmaking

Great Game - Great Game Play - Great Price - Definitely Recommend.

Hours and hours of fun. Very Challenging and very fun.

This game is pretty great, one of those games you can just get lost in. Missions are simple and straightforward, sometimes too simple. XP grinding can get repetitive, so that's where the multiplayer can change it up a bit. The only problem is that if you have low level, low damage weapons it makes for quite an uphill battle against others. Co-op is fun and there is matchmaking for strike missions so you don't have to go it alone. Public events also add something different. They can pop up any time while questing and pit any nearby players against a common objective. Overall its a cool take on an fps that focuses more on online interaction for co-op and competitive multiplayer.

1st game since the new consoles launched in Nov 2013 that actually feels like it takes advantage of the new hardware. Bungie has always been top notch when it comes to Gameplay & Controls. The graphics, voice overs are great. Only draw back is the sorry mode. Does not live up to the epic feel of Bungie's Halo titles. I haven't played multiplayer yet. Only commenting on the campaign. Though the Collectors Edition is sold out on Best Buy it is a great value that not only comes with a steel book case, but the 1st 2 Expansion DLC's coming later.

This game is amazing. Everything that bungie hyped about is true with this game. My only complaint is how the multi player is. It plays more like COD which most will like just wasn't my cup of tea still play though.

I really like this game and have completed the Earth and Moon parts of the game. It is good and the gameplay is great, but it really just feels like you are grinding for better gear sometimes. When it is at its best is when you are playing online with 2 friends at that point it earns the 5 star rating from me. Play it with friends and you will like it, if you are going solo, get a different game.

This game, despite what you might read elsewhere, is good. It is a very fun game, and that is supposed to be what matters, right? Is it perfect? No. Does it have legs? To some, yes. To others, no. This isn't a game that everyone will play for months to come, but it is a game that most people will enjoy and find their money's worth. Graphics are great, gameplay is smooth. Story is a bit of a letdown. End game is more of a grind-fest than anything else, but if you are doing it with friends, the "fun" is still there.

I participated in the beta and the full game still surpassed my expectations. Have been playing non-stop with my friends and really digging deep into this massive title. Love the RPG aspects and overall scale. The challenge is definitely there and the balance of loot drops is perfect. Can't wait for the expansions and future DESTINations ;)

Enjoyable game, but a bit lacking in the story department. Really great gameplay however, and keeps getting better with updates!

The shooter mechanics are spot on. You can definitely tell it's a Bungie game. That's mostly what keeps you playing. Think Borderlands, Diablo, and Halo all mixed into one. The story, unfortunately, is a little lacking, but with upcoming DLC, that should be addressed. You really have to invest a lot of time to get full enjoyment of the game, but with a few friends, it's less of a chore

Destiny is a fun game. It takes a number of old and new ideas and blends styles, game play, and concepts together to create something unique and addicting. Is it perfect? Well, no, but what game is? In my opinion, Destiny has a ways to go before it starts receiving the acclaim it deserves. However, Bungie has a ten year plus plan for this games, and I do believe it will reach near perfect at some point. The Limited Edition was well worth it in my opinion. It not only came with the game and the season pass, but also some fun and unique extra items. I LOVE the materials the map is made out of and plan to frame and hang it soon. I also enjoyed the book, as it shed light on a world that is hard to figure out in the game. All in all, I am happy with my purchase. I cannot wait to see how this game will grow over the next few years. Diablo 3 started out only meh and ended up amazing, so I am hoping for the same outcome for Destiny.

Graphics are amazing. Game play is easy to catch on. Story is a little short. But overall the game is really addicting.

This is a great first person shooter, but if you are looking for a good story this is not it. To be honest in some ways i am disappointed in this game and in other ways it is what i expected.
