You need an Xbox Live Account. I missed this. I was upset when I found out it was the only way you could play. I am anti online/group play. The game made up for it by being so much fun and the people are cool. If you like first person shooter games, this is for you!! It has aspects of a role-playing game. However, the game adapts to your playing style, within the limits of your character. For example: I am a Warlock wearing combat boots with a gigantic weapon. What can I say, I like getting in the mix. My armor is strong but, I have to keep my distance. You can play lone wolf. But, for big strikes the game will force you to go in with more than one person (strangers - if you don't have a group like me). My favorite strike so far: A few good people went in with me. We ended up in a dark room. I couldn't see anything but, red from baddies attacking me. I did what any seasoned gamer would do. I started twirling and attacking anything close by. I know my fellow mates were like, "What is she doing? Stop!!" I felt like I made a good contribution to the effort, ha! Note: If the baddies know they have you jammed up. They swarm. If you're lucky, someone will come by and lend a hand. If that kind person stays and/or more people show up, the number of baddies will grow exponentially. A short, simple patrol turned into crazy town because, one kind person decided to help me. A ship showed up and baddies jumped out. Yes, I stood there looking, “What, the..?” We got swarmed. So, more people jumped in to help. Oh, it went bad quick, fast and in a hurry. I don’t know how many people showed up, how long we were in the mix, who I saved. More importantly, who saved me. I do know, I loved every minute of it!! I am getting that gamer itch, “just a little game then, I’ll stop”.

Bought this about 2 weeks ago and it might possibly be the most addicting game i've ever played. Customization and so much to do. Have already put in about 30 hours.

Destiny was a lot of fun played hours and hours with my friends and this dlc combo is worth it because it gave us more to do and made the game more exciting

By and far away more content and more to do than the sequel

As far as the game itself, it is a great shooter game to play. Game play is great and graphics are amazing. Story line is some what good too. In the beginning when game was first released the game lacked content as far as end game goes. Bungie appears to be taking this serious and I do believe that in a short period of time there will be plenty of game play available to keep the average gamer busy.

The Destiny Collection is not only the best way for new players to experience Destiny, but also for veterans who are finally switching from the 360 and PS3 to the One and PS4, as every DLC ever is included. Destiny has had many ups and downs, but was an overall good game, and this is the best way to jump right in.

I am a late comer to the Destiny gameplay but I can't put the controller down. I finished the original game in a few hours and made it to level 34 before buying the this game. Now I am kicking but all over the solar system. Great purchase

This is just like Desitny only more like desitney than the original desitniy... It has ene,ies thhat keep beeting u up and they look cool but arent playable... Not even too much water. Cant waits to play it up!! Awesome Gallahoner quest is included. :)

My son recently purchased this game. We ordered it from bestbuy.com because it was the best price online and I didn't have to drive 50 minutes (round trip to get it from the closest Best Buy Store). The game arrived two days earlier than was expected, so that made my son happy. The game itself is awesome. I have it for the PS4 when it first came out and then had to buy all the expansions separate. This was a much better deal. I would not hesitate purchasing this.

I have this for my 360, but saw this great deal and had to get it for my XBOX One. I didn't bother with DLC on the 360 version, truth be told. Anyhow, if you are a huge fan of the Destiny series then grab this while you can. If you are new to the series, jump in with an open mind and lots of free time. It has beautiful imagery, graphics, solid weaponry and a good story to follow. It's even better when playing this with friends in multiplayer. Buy this game!

The base game is lacking. I think it took a total of 10 hours to complete. However, all the expansions within this collection makes this a game that I have yet to finish with 50+ hours played. Great game!

There is so much content packed with in this game it's amazing how it got cleared for a 59.99 price tag. Each expansion was $30 when they first came out and this package includes them ALL. So much to do in rise of iron and destiny has a great community of helpful players so you will always have people to play with. Bungie adds new content every single week as far as weapons, armor, weekly missions and multiplayer etc. Great game from the opinion of a recreational gamer.

Destiny the Collection is a GREAT GAME with a TON of content. Very fun to play with a group of people when you complete raids and strikes. Since it was created by the same studio the brought us the Halo series it is very recognizable but brings a lot more to the table with the RPG style character building. I highly recommend this game.

Disc has the base game and Xbox codes for the expansions. If you have Destiny already and want to get the latest before Destiny 2 comes out, this is the best deal. $50 to unlock all the Destiny expansions. If you want to check out Destiny to see what all the hubbub is about then this also the best deal going.

Now I will preface this by saying I dont have a ton of time in it just yet, but I will review what I have experienced so far. I come from a background of PC gaming exclusively and have very little experience with consoles, particularly shooters on consoles as I find it very difficult to aim with an analog stick. Unfortunately I still do with this game, however they've put a great deal of effort into making a fun MMO that can be experienced with your friends over XBox Live. The game looks great, the graphics are amazing and I look forward to becoming more used to the controls of the game. Being as this game has been out for some time now with multiple expansions, they have fortunately given new players a level boost so if you are playing with someone who has been around the game for a while, you have the opportunity to join them in their higher level missions sooner, rather than them waiting for you to level up. This is a great benefit and one I have already taken advantage of. Really my only criticism of the game isn't really the game's fault. Microsoft has said that mouse and keyboard support is coming to the XBONE but it has not yet arrived. I imagine this and many other games will become that much better once a mouse and keyboard can be used with them. I heartily recommend this game to anyone with an XBONE, especially if they have friends that already play it.

The folks at Bungie have created a deeply intricate world for you to explore. Sure, sometimes things get repetitious, but all-in-all it's a solid shooter. Atmospherics are wonderfula, and the music is great. Playability is among the best... it's very easy to get accustomed to the "Destiny feel" and be disappointed when you return to other shooters. Some criticisms: - Some larger tasks (bosses) require a team of 6 players. Since the game will NOT auto select a team for your efforts, you need friends, who are ALL online together, to complete the big quests. The game will however auto-select a 3-person team for "strike playlists", but that's all the help you'll get. Why not the 6-man teams? - Some game elements are needlessly complex. There are probably 60-100 material elements that need to be collected, there are MANY different currencies with different purposes, there are buffs you have to apply before going into combat, and you'll often end up with so many complex tasks in your to-do list that it becomes overwhelming. - Traditional gamers (keyboard + mouse) will get trounced in PvP. But, nothing new there. Worthy of purchase, especially if you have friends who are on the same console.

I purchased this for my son and he loves to play it. Seems like a pretty good game.

The games is great, its fun to play and all the DLC's make it a great value.
