This might be the worst thing I have ever bought online, and I buy a lot of stuff online. Double box shipped, in a sturdy foam wrap. Open it up, and find out it takes a AA battery to run the clock, the adapter is strictly for the lights. Makes sense. Trying to install the battery was a challenge, the compartment is recessed, and the positive end of the battery is barely seated, but the clock ran. Backwards. Took the battery out, again, no easy task. Made sure I was looking at the clock right, put the battery back in, and now it runs the right direction. Weird, but OK. To set the time, again you have to reach in the tiny, recessed compartment, and move the tiny wheel. I set the clock for 4:11. The minute hand is right, the hour hand was off, closer to where it would be for 4:30. I set the clock for 4:00 straight-up, and yes, the hour hand is way off. The battery compartment is very loose, and the hour/minute hands are connected to it, so, I turned it slightly to see if it was out of alignment. Multiple attempts to get the hour and minute hands to aligned properly proved to only accomplish one thing: wasting time. I debated, is it really that big of a deal that the hands don't line-up correctly? Maybe not, but then the thought of how poorly the simplest part of the clock was made, what would happen to the light (neon) a week after turning it on? I didn't even try the light. I put it back in the packing, and will return it today.

I love the design and colors and the Detroit Red Wings logo. But there is a chip in the clear cover of the clock. I would return it but it took a while to get it in the first place. Let go Red Wings!! Maybe I just go the imperfect one.
