Loved Dexter since the 1st season this season is 1 of my favorites lots twists turns & chaos definitely check this show out.

Season four continues right where season three left off, it pulls you in right away and keeps you entertained the whole season.

Definitely one of the better season out of the whole television show.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Highly recommended!

The fourth season of Showtime's hit series Dexter is not only one of the best seasons in the series, but in my humble opinion one of the best seasons of any show on the entire network. I will not divulge too much into the plot details so anyone who hasn't seen it doesn't have it spoiled for them. So, here are some basics: - Season guest star John Lithgow shines in one of the best performances of his entire career. - The main and supporting cast all deliver solid performances throughout, and all the characters all have more direction than in the past (and future, in some instances). - The overall production quality of the show and this Blu-Ray release are top notch, as is expected from a Showtime Original Series. I would not recommend starting off watching Dexter with season four, as you will appreciate the characters and plot much more if you have a solid understanding of the universe everything takes place in. However, if you fell off a bit after a lackluster season three, prepare to have your mind blown.

I love Dexter. I mean I really love Dexter and pretty much everything that this series has done. S1 and 2 were superb, though many people dismissed S3 as a stumble I can't say I agree completely, but S4 is the Pinnacle before the slide. Lithgow makes such a great villain in general and here he exudes pure evil all the way to the finish. Dexter and Rita and baby makes three in one of the most unusual families in recent TV memory. The supporting cast led of course by the mouthy Ms Carpenter/Hall/Carpenter makes this one of the funniest shows that has no real reason to ever justify a laugh, but somehow the writers and actors pull that off too. The bluray is more than adequate though it won;t make a demo disc like some of the better movie discs. Like Pavlov's dogs however, as soon as the theme song starts playing and I hear the frying pan sizzle, I know it's time to drop everything.

My personal favorite season. Dexter must hunt down Trinity, a serial killer who works in threes and has eluded capture for decades. When Dexter finally finds him he discovers something unusual. Trinity has a picturesque family and well-rounded life. Is this real? Can Dexter have this, too? Maybe he can actually learn something from this man before his last breath on Dexter's table. Maybe not. Wonderful season. John Lithgow is brilliant. Dick Solomon killing people. Enjoy!

I love Dexter and Season 4 was great. My only complaint is that I decided to buy this season in blu-ray but for some reasons some parts instead of looking crisp clear it looks blurry. Best Buy was great in letting me exchange the product twice but I gave up on the second exchange when it looked the same and realized its the DVD. And yes I tried it on both my blu-ray players and both are connected through HDMI. I just hoped I had known the quality to have saved myself a bit of money and bought the standard DVD edition. Well at least I can still enjoy my favorite serial killer.

Easily the 2nd best season of the series so far. John Lithgow was awesome and played his role near flawless. Amazing character development, and if you only own 2 seasons, this has to be one of them.

Did not like the bonus cd ... could not hear half of it and made no sense would have been much better without it.

Great TV series if you don't have Showtime and season 4 great place to start.

I don't know that I like the way the season ended and I definitely don't like how long they took to release it to DVD/BluRay, but I love this show. I was glad I bought this.
