Was very excited to get this one on my Switch. Played tons of Diablo III on PC with friends way back when and it was great getting back into it. This version had all the content added and the expansion, plus the character class Necromancer. Looks great on Switch and has great controls setup. Multiplayer works great and easy to setup games with people on your friends list. Overall it's good to see the Diablo franchise branching out and including Nintendo consoles.

Very amusing of Best Buy to solicit a review from me about this (with the typical bribe about potentially winning a $400 gift card sweepstakes, yeah sure). I ordered this on December 21, a shipping label was quickly created for it, but as of the date of this review (December 29), the item still is not here, it’s not even on the way!!! The item is “shipped” but the tracking details state that it hasn’t even been given to UPS, so I’ve watched as my delivery date switched from “delivering today” to “delayed” all the while Best Buy hasn’t bothered to drop the package off or they just lost it, either way they surely don’t care to update me at all. Thanks for nothing?

A great game to play anytime with friends or alone. But be warned, you can and probably will spend more time than you should with Diablo III. For those who enjoy the thrill of demolishing hordes of creatures and massive end boss battles Diablo III has got you covered. Experienced Diablo players will have very little problem transitioning over to the Switch format. However, anyone new to the series may experience a little frustration/confusion in terms of what they are confronted with regarding character build/gear upgrades etc. Other than that Diablo III offers, smooth game play, respectable graphics and a lot of replay value. Which is what makes this game a great purchase. Because once you are finished with the story there is still plenty to do.

Beautiful graphics, many character builds, hideous creatures, and fantastic treasures await you in solo or multiplayer on your television or handheld anywhere you go!

It's the exact same game as the PC and xbox/playstation version..but portable and the ability to pause anywhere and play with friend nearby online or on the same console whether at home or on the go make it super fun. I've logged in over 40 hours and will be playing many more. If you still enjoy diablo 3 and have a switch you should definitely get this a small DISCLAIMER however you cannot import your saved character from the other versions of this game so you will have to start new (but anyone who plays starts new each season anyway so no big deal at least for me)

This is a great game to play by yourself or with a group. The graphics look great and you can take it any where.

This is my third time getting Diablo 3. First being just the base game on PC, then the expansion on PS4 to play with someone specific, and now on the Switch which includes the necromancer DLC. This is my favorite version of the game if only because I can play it without being tethered to a desk or chair/couch. I can play it anywhere at all. It looks just as good as I does on PS4 and controls just as well. I have only played the game in handheld mode, I rarely play my Switch docked.

From the moment you load it up you can tell that it’s going to be good. Most people have probably either played this game on PC or Console by now, but for those who haven’t, you’re in for a treat! I have played entirely solo and I can’t praise enough how fluid the gameplay is. Performance isn’t an issue, graphics are pretty good as well. Controls are responsive and there’s enough content to keep you busy for weeks if not months! Having this on the go is just too good.

I was expecting much from this video game but glad I was wrong it was extremely fun I had a lot of glass going through it with my friends there are tons of things to do the package came on time no damage to the Box the game is great handles very well on the switch very fun multiplayer games or single play I highly recommend playing with a friend that makes the experience much funner my recommendation is to buy it

As someone who lost sleep and missed classes due to Diablo II, I was initially disappointed with D3, and then pleased with the changes/fixes Blizzard made. But it had been over 2 years since I'd last picked up the game, until I got the Switch version on my birthday this year. I've been blown away by the Switch version. The graphics are surprisingly nice, the controls and gameplay are smooth, and there's SO much more content than the last time I looked! (Plus running around as Ganondorf with a cucco pet is hilarious.) On top of that the amiibo support is great. Any amiibo will spawn an Elite monster to fight for EXP and loot, but the new Loot Goblin amiibo is the best. I won't spoil its effect, but I love it. The only downside is you can only use the Loot Goblin + 1 other amiibo every 21 hours. My only real knock against it is I haven't really enjoyed playing on handheld mode. But that's more a problem with the smaller screen making it hard to see everything. The game itself still runs smoothly. Maybe someone with better eyesight might enjoy it more. I've been playing mostly on a 27" monitor and had no troubles. I've previously played D3 on PC, XB360 and PS4, and this is the best version yet. Highly recommended.

I have played this game for years since day 1! The pc version was good, but Xbox one made it amazing! I did not think blizzard could top Xbox version, but diablo 3 handheld is the greatest thing since ever!! If you love diablo 3 and like playing on the go, or even in bed this is for you! Drop in and out of friends games with ease. Worth 60$ for sure!

This is my first Diablo game. My husband has been telling me to play this game for years, but it just never caught my eye. Even with it getting a lot of reviews and play thrus on YouTube recently because of its release on Switch, it didn’t look like is was going to be an immediate purchase. But since I’m always looking for a game I can sink multiple hours into, this game kept getting recommended. I’ve had it less than a week, but wow-I am having so much fun destroying ever demon in my path!!!! I love mixing up my character’s [Demon Hunter] inventory and becoming more and more powerful. It’s absolute destruction and chaos...it’s just honest to goodness fun. There’s a story of course, but since this is my first game in the series, I had to do a bit of reading to get caught up in what’s going on. But if you didn’t want to get fully invested and only wanted to kill and destroy, this game got you covered!

I bought this because me and my cousin has played this online and it was a awesome game. And when I seen it was for the switch it made it so much better now. I can play it anywhere I go and don’t have to worry about carrying around my gaming laptop. Best game I have played and the graphics are really good on the game as well.

I purchased this game for the PC when it came out. I am impressed with this version. It is very easy to play with multiple people with same console. Its only a delay if you have someone who constantly wants to check their inventory or change their skills thumbs up to blizzard for making an excellent port

The fact that there's couch multiplayer is good enough. It should be warned though that the "Normal" difficulty is misleading, because it basically makes it impossible for anyone to die. You need to start at least on "expert" for an actually fun experience, because the game gets really boring on easier difficulties.

I originally for Diablo 3 for the XBox 360 and loved the fast paced dungeon crawling and easy to use combat style. While the earlier Diablo games for the PC had a deeper story and more thoughtful leveling style, the new style is more fitting for the consoles. Now that that game is out on the Switch, it's great for mobile dungeon crawling or just sitting at home hunting for loot. When paired with the Loot Goblin Amiibo (sadly a GameStop exclusive), it makes hunting for rare items and gems more accessible. The Legend of Zelda bonus, while cool, is a little disappointing. The Ganondorf look fits in the dark world of Diablo, but if you're playing as a female, it just doesn't look right. It would have been better with a Link, Zelda, or even Midna option. Over all it's a great game for at home or on the go. I wouldn't let really young children play it, but my 10 & 13 year old kids are mature enough to understand that it's a game and nothing more so we have a great time playing it,

I've gotten Diablo 3 multiple times for different platforms and each time, I discover something new or different from how I normally play. Diablo on the Switch takes a while to get used to if you've played the PC version but overall, a great game to take on a commute/trip. The grind is real but rewarding.

It's Diablo 3 with all the add-ons, portable. This was an easy one for me to buy, even though I have Diablo on my PC. The fact that I can just quit out and pick up right where I left off, plus can play multiplayer wherever makes this the port of the year (since D3 is a few years old now).

For those wanting to get into the Diablo series, this is a good place to start. The switch is able to house this great title. For veterans that have played this series, it is a great way to enjoy the series on the go or another time around

This is my third time buying Diablo III (PC and PS4), and it is just amazing as the other two purchases. The switch version can't hold up graphically, but gameplay is as smooth as butter! Co-op is great, and it is now my go-to version since it's portable.
