I knew nothing about this game, at all, before purchasing... that being said I'm loving it. I typically grew up playing Nintendo classics and fighting games so I'm always looking to try new games and I remember my best friend preordering this and being obsessed. She totally was right, this game is so much fun! The gothic style is very appealing and characters look cool in their armor and weaponry. I plan on playing through the story line with each class. It has a local multiplayer mode which is great for when you have company over. Highly recommend this game even if you haven't ever really played any video games, you can play in the easiest mode and kill some walking dead.

this is a great deal..i love this game, awesome story lines, great gameplay and cinematics..although its a very long game but i enjoyed it so much for 30 bucks this is the best deal for great games like this.

Fun game. I am glad they got rid of the real money market that was in the PC version. It took the challenge out of the game. Controls work well with the console controller. This game is a great time killer.

This was my first Diablo game, though I knew the mechanics from watching people play the PC versions over the years. Believe it or not, two games made me buy this: Destiny and Borderlands. The original Borderlands made it known that they were a Diablo game molded in a shooter game and after playing Diablo III, I totally get it and it makes me appreciate the franchise more. As for Destiny, I got bored with the game's loot system and wanted a game to give me something more rewarding. Diablo definitely does this better than Destiny in a lot of ways. Example: The variety of rifts and bounties to keep you seeking out better items. It's much better than wasting several hours doing a hard raid in Destiny and having nothing to show for it in the end other than shards. I do think the game could do better with its story (it is very predicable) and maybe it could use more enjoyable Acts, because the game's length is pretty weak. The game is about its loot though and it does a great job with it. Good, average fun time and even better with friends.

I really wanted to live D3, but it just doesn't measure up to D2 in terms of atmosphere and difficulty. I'm told things ramp up once you reach max/hell levels, but grinding through the incredibly easy story feels more like a chore. The core gameplay is great with a controller, though

For a game that started life in pretty rough shape, Blizzard has redeem themselves with a steady stream of patches, updates, and new content. Taking this game from something of a downer, to something special that is also incredibly addicting. Diablo has always specialized on the game play loop of "just one more", just one more dungeon (they change layouts each time you play), just one more item drop, just one more upgrade, just one more level up... and so on. Half an hour becomes an entire night. The game controls map incredibly well to the PS4 controller, and it plays very smoothly. Definitely worth a buy.

This was my first time playing a Diablo game and as soon as I started I could not put it down. The story is meh but the game play is awesome and I was surprised at how fun it actually is with a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard since most purists prefer it over a controller. I have been wanting to try this game since it released on the ps3 but I held back thinking of a future ps4 release and good thing I did. This game looks very good on the ps4 and the best part is that it includes the expansion(an added bonus to the gorgeous graphics). This is a must own title if you like action rpg games.

It's my first time playing a Diablo game and let me say is awesome, great graphics on ps4. Great gameplay, hack'n slash and loot. The only issue is the the item menu, very confusing and sometimes the game can be really hard if playing by yourself.

Great couch coop game. Classic Diablo action and game play. The new features added with the ultimate edition give the game even more replay ability.

After burning through Destiny, my brother and I needed a full co-op game and although I have never played the Diablo series before, the reviews across the board were so positive I suggested we give it a try. I am really glad we did. This is an incredibly addictive game that you just want to keep playing to see what new armor or weapon you will come across. In an hour of time, your character can look completely different than when you started. Great progression rewards, and even after the campaign, there is a ton of content here. Highly recommend.

I'm a big PC gamer, and I usually feel that most games are better on PC; usually do to better graphical fidelity, options for re-mapping controls, and mod support. But this version of Diablo III is the absolute best version. It's been so long since there's been a game I've had this much fun playing with on the couch with friends. I had Diablo III on PS3 and the controls were absolutely awesome and they figured out a clever way to map the controls and re-do the menu/inventory systems. The local multiplayer was awesome and the online multiplayer worked seamlessly in tandem with local. The loot system on the PS3 system was so much better than the PC version. There were actual improvements to the PC version on the PS3 version..i was shocked. You may be wondering why I'm referring to the PS3 version so much, but it's only to say that all that greatness transferred over to Diablo III: Reaper of Souls on PS4. It also has the added bonus of greatly improving the graphical fidelity of the game compared to the PS3 version which was sorely lacking in that department when held up against the PC's graphics. Now I would rather play Reaper of Souls on PS4 than PC because of all those awesome features. The loot system has been improved even further and the gameplay is just as addicting as ever. This is a definite buy.

If you enjoy crafting, ranking up, and destroying devilish minions, then this game is for you. Easy to maneuver and a great story line.

This game is by far the most addicting I've ever played. If you don't have hours to spend, then don't buy it. Coop works great local or online. There is MAJOR replayability. I have beaten the game at least 20-30 times. It is always a little different depending on what class, level , and who is in your group. It is supported well by the developer, and they continue to release updates adding new things or fixes issues. I find myself always coming back to this after I beat other games... definitely one of my favorites!

Excellent game to play locally, couldn't have made a better choice. Wonderfully put together, even the story line is entertaining.

Diablo 3 is insane, love the story, great combat mechanics and a multitude of skills makes for an ever changing game play style.

Really fun loot game that's even better with friends. The controls were adapted well for this ps4 version. Highly recommended.

I own Diablo 3 For Pc and play it from time to time. I have a few friends that wanted to try it out but for PS4 so they talked me into this purchase. There are a few features that are different between the two versions but overall nothing that takes away from the fun factor of playing co op. The PS4 version definitely paces a little faster then how the pc version plays. Also to my surprise the controller play versus keyboard (pc version) was very inviting and made game play less stiff.

Being a big fan of Diablo since it appears this is the best edition. Well made, amazing story and such a great graphics!

If you like diablo 1 and 2, go ahead and play diablo 3. It is still fun, especially because they got rid of the auction house! You will find lot of loot that will make your character stronger. Have fun!

Did not like diablo 1 or 2 (I know, crazy) but after playing the torchlight games, I figured I'd give this a try. Ended up enjoying it a lot. Like most people will tell you, the story is a little strange, as their isn't very much of one, but listening to lorebooks (such as journals) really fills you in on characters and their back story and helps to fill the gaps that you may feel are there. Great combat, and leveling system is pretty good. Very fun to play with friends.
