I've been a huge Diablo fan since Diablo 2. I purchased Diablo 3 twice on PC along with the Reaper of Souls expansion and completed both with multiple characters. I decided to buy this game for PS4 mainly to play online with a friend of mine. Boy is it ADDICTIVE. I honestly didn't think it would come close to the PC but playing in front of my TV at 1080P is a better overall experience. I believe the console control scheme and inventory mechanics are actually superior to that of the PC. That of course is subjective - but it's coming from a guy that bought an Nvidia Shield for the whole purpose of streaming this game from PC to my TV in order to use a keyboard and mouse. PC purists - fear not! The awesome gameplay and new mechanics are worth giving this game another go (or 10). This IS the definitive edition.

This game is amazing, the story and gameplay is just amazing.

I purchased this game largely because of the ability to play up to 4 players at the same time and it does not disappoint. It's a great party game that my son and I have played for hours. Because of the ability to build up your character and different difficulty settings you can put as much or as little effort into developing your character as you want and still make your way through the game. These features also mean you can put quite a bit of time into the game on or offline making this a great value for the money.

Big fan of WoW and Diablo. I played D3 on the computer first but switched to PS4 when it came out. A great game overall. Only thing that needs fixing is the online play. My first character I played through the story line, but when leveling an alt I'll play with someone who is high enough paragon level that I can hit level 70 in an hour. Still a fun game.

This changes everything.. on PC u had click to move ur character, but in this console release u use ur joystick to move ur hero around which makes this go from dungeon crawler to a beat em up/hack & slash dungeon crawler reminiscent of the good ol heydays of arcade gaming. Ive havent had this much fun playing a console game since the days of original xbox!

I played when this first came out on PC years ago. The console version streamlined a lot of things which made it much less of a chore to play. This version adds the expansion, which is pretty rad. I got it for around 30 bucks on sale and it was a great deal, but the sheer amount of content if you like dungeon crawlers would probably make it worth it.

Played this on the PS3 and loved it. Recent purchase of new PS4 meant we could pick up this PS4 version that includes the original game and expansion pack for a great price. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay great as expected. Love how Blizzard allowed us to export our characters from the PS3 and import them to the PS4 to continue play.

Although I am not a big "gamer", I do enjoy a quality game. I find no other game more entertaining than Diablo. It's is highly addictive! It's basically the old arcade game "Gaunlet" but upgraded in all ways. Enjoy the latest installment of my personal favorite game.

Best coop experience. Played over 30 hours. Loot is best.

This was my first experience with the Diablo franchise and with Blizzard. I LOVE this game. It is easly one of the best games I have ever played. I enjoy all aspects of this game from start to finish its just an all around great game. It is very easy to select a class of character so my entire family has started playing with me as well.

Great game! Awesome graphics and a great story to play

If you love Action RPGs this is their pinnacle. Combat is fun, and with a number of difficulty levels continuously challenging. Playing on your own and with others are both great experiences. It's easy to spend hours killing monsters, collecting loot, and leveling up your character into a killing machine. No reason not to own this game.

I don't know what to say about this game that hasn't already been said at this point. The strength of this game, which is major one, is that this game has one of the best co-ops out their for the PS4. The replay value is very, very high when playing co-op. The game isn't too difficult to where it can become frustrating for people that are infrequent gamers, all while never being too easy to where it can become boring for serious gamers. The individual gamer really can play to their skill set at a comfortable level. I was a little worried how gameplay that plays so well on the computer would translate to PS4, but the controls and gameplay are smooth and really comfortable on the PS4. Overall, an enjoyable game.

Overall, a good dungeon crawling game. If you have played the original Diablo I and II games, you know what to expect from this. The game can get repetitive, but half of the fun is getting legendary equipment and maxing out your character. This includes the expansion as well and I have yet to finish the game on one character. The game does seem a little easier than in the past. Works well on console and I actually prefer using a controller than the standard keyboard and mouse on the PC.

I had D3 on PC at release and played it with all of my friends. I wasn't going to pick it up for PS4 at first, but eventually decided why not since i needed a couch co-op for friends. I've actually been playing it a toooon on my own as well. It feels completely different on console and is actually more fun in my opinion.

I have played D3 on the PC and got the PS4 version since it was on sale. PC characters are not transferrable but all players are able to talk through the headset if they want. The game play is smooth and a little easier with the controler on the consle instead of strictly mouse and keyboard commands.

Awesome game, so much fun to play. Definitely more towards the hack-n-slash type, i.e. there's not a lot of strategy involved but still very enjoyable. The variety of the characters makes playing it over just as fun as the first time. Plus you end up with different loot so its a semi-new experience.

I played the PC version of this game 10 years ago before I got married. I bought PS4 for my son as a Christmas gift and this game for myself for the good old memories. Just started to play with it lately and I really like it. I thought console wouldn't be the same as a mouse on a PC, but I'm wrong :)

I purchased this game on Bestbuy online, the first shipping was lost by USPS, I contacted Bestbuy customer service, and they sent me another one immediately. The Game is awesome, too. The feature I like most is game can support up to 4 players playing locally at same one in the same screen!
