Customers are saying

Customers are positive about Diablo III's fluid gameplay, replay value, and immersive story and sound. Many appreciate the variety offered by the different character classes and the action-packed experience. However, some customers found the game too easy, even on higher difficulty settings. The overall feedback suggests a fun and engaging game, though improvements to challenge could enhance the experience.

Not as good as II but still worthy of a try

I bought this more to see how it stacked up to #2. I was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews for the game on PC. Control is intuitive, graphics are well rendered and it plays a lot like the last one. The story is OK, but the voice talent cold be better. All in all a good game. Add this to your collection for a good gap filler until the holidays.

    Play it Co-op!

If you're planning to play this solo, you're not going to have as good a time with D3. Fighting through hordes of monsters with your friends on chat, each controlling a different class, that's what D3 is about. Your friends with the Barbarian and Crusader class up front absorbing the enemy attacks, while the Wizard freezes and slows the enemies and Demon Hunter attack from a distance. This will be a far better experience than trudging through on your own. If you're an achievement/trophy hunter, be prepared to grind over 100+ hours to 100%.

This is a great role play game. There are plenty of options and things to do. Many Character classes... Be prepared to spend tons of time with this game.

    Not just a PC copy

When a game gets ported from the PC to console, hopes are not high for a good transition. The Console version felt smoother than the PC version and was a much shorter learning curve. Hardcore gamers would probably want to stick with the PC version. For playing and teaching my son as we go, this version was excellent.

Great console rendition to a PC game

Blizzard really did a good job transferring this game from a PC version to a console version. Some things were and probably HAD to be left behind, but all in all the game is an excellent adventure game. The graphics are good; the cinematic scenes are amazingly detailed. You can even see the pores on the character's skin! I spent a LOT of time playing the old DII expansion set, so I miss some of the character choices there (Druid, Necromancer), but I'm in hopes they will add them in a package later on down the line. Haven't played any co-op yet, but it looks to be just as good if not better. Plenty of challenges with various levels of difficulty. Overall, a good 4-4.5 stars.

Very entertaining game for co-op and rpg lovers. All of what PC players wished they had received in it's initial launch.

I have every version of Diablo that has ever come out for the PC. I have been looking forward to playing D3 on the Xbox with my wife since the first mention of it. We purchase the game and now it is going to require us to purchase a 2nd Xbox live account to play split screen. When I play the game online against others it's fine. However if you EVER want to play split screen (Like they show in the commercials) then forget about it. They REQUIRE you to either have multiple Xbox live accounts, or if you use the guest account you can join with a level 1 new character each and every time. So when they are level 20 and you want to join them you may as well just watch paint dry because you can't play. You can't fight in their level 20 battle with your level 1 GUEST character.

Just another sequel. Not nearly as fun as many other XBox games on the market. BEST BUY CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE.
