Preorder was messed up by UPS but they quickly solved the issue. Anyways, game is excellent, PERFECT graphics and dark tone. Much better then last game. Although the cosmetics seem like a lot, you don't have to purchase it and you can gather a lot of them within the game in the old fashion way of grinding, like the original Diablo. Controls are excellent and sound is awesome. Really pulls you in if you have a nice sound system.

The queues and launch issues really hinder the experience of this game. I once got a 1396 minute queue before Blizzard fixed it. The major downside to this game is the always-online requirement. The multiplayer aspects aren't even necessary but Blizzard does not have an offline mode. Other than those issues though, I'm more of a casual fan and I think this game is fun.

As a somewhat new Diablo player (Played III I'm co-op briefly) I am more than happy with the game. Coming from Destiny 2, this game more than fulfilled the power fantasy. Yes, certain points of the game seem slower and the grind seems tedious, but once you step back, ignore most of the recommendations to speed through the campaign and just enjoy the game, the true fun comes out. Experimenting with the different classes and the strengths and weaknesses was a joy and the campaigns narrative was good, but fell short in a few spots. As a first time Diablo enjoyer, I would recommend most people to give it a shot. Is it perfect? No game is perfect, but what it does bring is a solid campaign with a decent leveling system and a lot of fun overall. Will this game win game of the year? Probably not, but the numerous hours I have sank in have been pure, power fantasy fun, with some twists along the way. The game isn't for anyone, but if you have a slight interest in the game I recommend giving it a shot.

Never played a Diablo game before, but I’ve always wanted to join in on the fun. Tried to pick up Diablo 3 and it felt overwhelming. I’m not sure what the exact differences are, but so far, this game has definitely made me feel comfortable from the get go and I’m enjoying every minute so far. Also, I’m excited to try the couch co-op that this game offers with my significant other, but I haven’t tried it out just yet. Highly recommend for fans that have never had hands on experience and only ever enjoyed it from a distance!

Diablo 4 strides into the gaming arena with stunning graphics, deep lore, and gameplay mechanics that resonate with both franchise veterans and new players alike. Its immersive world, darkly beautiful landscapes, and diverse class options are indeed a treat to behold.
From the get-go, Diablo 4 pulls no punches in establishing its rich narrative, combining sinister undertones with a sweeping plot that leverages the franchise's intricate mythology. With its sprawling dungeons and formidable enemies, the game offers a pleasing challenge to fans of the hack-and-slash genre.
The class diversity is commendable. Whether you're a fan of brute force Barbarians, swift and deadly Rogues, or magical Mystics, each class comes with its unique set of skills and gameplay style. However, the game could benefit from better balancing as some classes seem underpowered without specific unique item drops.
Speaking of item drops, Diablo 4 delivers a variety of loot ranging from basic equipment to legendary items, which amplifies the game's inherent thrill of exploration and battling. The rush of finding a powerful piece of gear after an intense encounter is a feeling unmatched.
However, the game does stumble in the face of grinding. After reaching level 50, character progression slows to a crawl. The need for increasingly high experience points to level up, coupled with a scarcity of high-impact loot drops, makes the game feel excessively grindy at this stage. This pacing issue is something that fans of the franchise might find particularly disconcerting, as it could potentially rob the game of its otherwise enjoyable progression.
Moreover, I have found that some classes lack viable builds unless you luck into very specific unique drops. Throughout my first 73 levels, despite rigorous monster bashing and dungeon crawling, these items remained elusive. This heavy reliance on RNG can be frustrating for players, especially when it hampers class potential and build diversity.
In conclusion, Diablo 4 is an excellent addition to the franchise, providing both captivating gameplay and high-quality storytelling. But it doesn't shy away from demanding hefty grinding post level 50 and requires a bit of luck in obtaining class-specific unique items. Even with these hurdles, it's a journey worth embarking on, especially if you are a fan of the genre. A patch to address these issues could go a long way in solidifying its standing in the world of action RPGs.

Disregard all the negative reviews about the queue time. People should have expected there would be issues at the release date due to the massive success of the game and with millions going online, it’s very expected. Now, there is little to no issues playing the game and the battle system, grinding and hours of replay value makes this game well worth your money and time. Highly recommended!

Diablo IV is everything I hoped for and more. The world design is stunning, the combat feels smooth and impactful, and the story pulls you in right from the start. The skill tree and character customization give tons of freedom to build your perfect playstyle. Playing on PS5, the graphics and performance are flawless, and the atmosphere is dark and immersive. Whether solo or co‑op, it’s an incredible experience that keeps you coming back for “just one more dungeon.

Diablo IV is decent but not exactly groundbreaking. The gameplay is familiar if you’ve played previous Diablo games—fast-paced action, loot hunting, and character progression. The graphics and world design are solid, but the story is lacking. The open-world aspect is cool, but the game feels overwhelmingly repetitive as the seasons and expansions thus far are pretty hollow dont really grab me. The game has its moments, but overall, it’s not a huge step up from Diablo III. It’s fun if you’re a fan of the series, but I wouldn’t say it’s a must-play for everyone.

D and D style game. It was multiplayer local co-op which was a huge plus. I wish they made more of those style games instead of having to play online all the time

I cannot give much of a review as to gameplay. I bought it for my boyfriend and I'm just completing this review for a chance at a $400 giftcard. I haven't played the game myself.
However, he did say it was an improvement on Diablo 3. Also, he used to sleep in before work most days, and ever since it came out he's been waking up earlier just to play it. Watching him play it, the graphics are impressive and the story is captivating.
Also, the preorder process went smoothly.

This game is packed with content and depth. The story is gripping, character customization is excellent, and the loot system keeps me hooked for hours. On PS5, load times are fast and gameplay is seamless. Definitely one of the best action RPGs out there.

Diablo 4 has been a blast! Loved 3 and loving this one even more. Couch co-op is great to have as my wife and I enjoy playing this together. There is so much to do and accomplish in this game - definitely will keep a gamer busy. The classes of characters is fun to experiment with, each one being unique with sets of skills. A game you want to have for your gaming collection. The only real downside is the online only requirement.

Its fantastic fun. Whether you’re doing solo runs, with a group taking down world bosses, hanging out in towns using emotes. Its exactly what you would expect from a diablo game. It’s better than 3, but not as good as 2. If you like dungeon crawling and monster hordes you really don’t have an excuse to not be playing Diablo IV.

Played this game for so many hours!!! Was able to play it multiple times with different characters. The story was riveting and I would definitely recommend playing this game at least a few times to really dig deep into each character.
