My son us just starting to read the books so I bought the movie for him and he loves it.

My 9 year old son loves this move, we have had many laughs watching together as a family.

Having never read the Wimpy kid series of books, I was still pleasantly surprised by how much my little buddies who had read the books took to it. They laughed and thoroughly enjoyed watching their beloved book come to life. I guess that for a certain age bracket, the movie fulfills their need.

Great family movie. You will not be disappointed with this movie.

Bought it for my son, the movie is funny as the book. Picture wise not the best, but you buy this movie only for the story and not for special effects. Recommended for kids.

Not sure why this has such great reviews. Maybe I’m just old, but did not like it and kids were bored.

This movie brought me back to middle school times. I'm an adult now. But this movie was highly entertaining. I can still relate to a lot of it, even though I am an adult and I don't have the same situations any more. But this movie makes it easy to remember. Middle school is a simpler time in your life. And this movie paints that picture very well. I don't mean they dumbed it down. This movie was smart with a very good message: "Never turn on your friends". What I mean is it shows how kids worry about simpler things in middle school. And they are frequently hilarious, just like the entirety of this movie. Zachary Gordon did an A+ job as Greg. I can't wait to see them all back in the sequel, and the one after that and the one after that! I give this a 10/10!

We didn't watch the extra's but the movie was great....everything we expected and more. It was a little slow for adults but the belly laughs that came out of my kids were priceless. This is a good family movie or movie night movie for a small or large group.

This is a really greqat movie. My daughter wanted the movie because she reads the books and has all of them. I thought this was good movie too. Its a great family movie.
